Mohammad Pir , a six year old is bewildered & confounded beyond measures.
It has been 7 days since he last saw his mom & dad. Whenever he inquires he
gets one answer, they are dead my son ,deal with it. Now how can he deal
with it when he cant even comprehend what death is all about .he has never
slept without his mom & now desperately longing for her.
Well this is one of the several hundred shattered pieces of the mosaic called
Gaza. But do we even care? Or are we clutching every available alibi to look
away. Human race cant be so callous & apathetic. We must not forget that
today it is them tomorrow it can be anyone. Monstrosity knows no bound.
But irony is that this matter is being warded off by saying, Its there matter, let
them sort it out. I dont know since when sorting out has taken innocent
killings under its domain. Hospitals, schools, market etc. nothing has been
spared. If this is not deliberate & systematic cleansing then only god knows
what it is.
UN resolution alone is not sufficient. It must be accompanied by sanctions and
censure. Its time to reprimand and chastise.
Any conflict or genuine concerns must be sorted out on table. Innocent civilians
cannot be sacrificed to satisfy the inflated ego of one country. World is round
and what goes around comes back around.

Against:
Israel conundrum: to be or not to be
last week western media was left high and dry by the response of Israel which
refused to buckle down in front of their incessant and visceral campaign & This
is the Concern they are harping about.
Now without getting sentimental and maudlin lets step back and look at some
hard facts without being judgemental and prejudiced.
Since its inception Israel has been confronted by worst form of Islamic
fundamentalism. It is the region where Al-Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah and many
hard core anti-humanitarian terrorist organisation call the shots. Jasmine
revolution has shown us that democracy is virtually non-existent and human
right violation is norm rather than aberration to begin with. So I dont know
how much blame can be pinned on Israel alone. Yes it is true that two wrongs

cannot make a right. But right of self-defence is unalienable as well. Everything

must be seen in context & focus should be on how situation aggravated to such
extent. Merely taking one incident in isolation and bludgeoning the protagonist
is in itself a human right violation.
But what about death of 500 civilians & still counting. I am not condoning any
violence. I dont know if anyone has noticed that these civilians are being used
by Hamas as human shield.
