Everyone has the right to comment on anybody, but being a Pakistani we

must unite to condemn at least when it comes to humiliation or insult of our

country or countrymen anywhere, particularly on the foreign soil. Setting
aside our views and opinions about Imran Khan's politics, our love or hatred
towards him, we must disapprove the disgraceful attitude expressed towards
Imran Khan on the part of the U.S. immigration in Canada on his way to USA.
In the past also our politicians have suffered this sort of attitude on foreign
soils when they were stopped at the airport and were searched and
interrogated without considering the fact that Pakistan has always stood in
front whenever these foreign powers needed Pakistan's help. It's time we as
a Pakistani must make them realize that we may be going through a difficult
phase of our history at the moment, but if anyone looked down on us or our
country we are all unite to not only condemn it but are ready to reciprocate.

Malalah's case is being exaggerated just to shadow the fury of millions of

muslims against the recently releazed blesphameous movie.

MORNING
It's morning. The sun is starting to come out- the morning breeze is
fresh and fragrant and ready for us to be breathed deeply- The lush
green trees are swaying by gentle breeze and welcoming the
beautiful morning time. You can breath as deep as you wish to
have a full healthy taste of oxygen exhaled by the trees. The
atmosphere is free of all kinds of pollutions as no or very little traffic
is running on the roads and streets in this part of the day. The birds
are also aware that it is time for them to come out of their nests and
chirp and sing in their ways to celeberate this very brief but most
pleasant part of the day.

PARENTS AND THEIR RESPONSIBILITY

Since day one of a child's birth he is dependent on his

parents to take care of all his necessities until he reaches the
age of pubirty where he can maintain his life on his own.
During this whole period of dependency on parents /elders a
child learns to speak what he hears from his parents -. learns
the manners and

obeys the orders and instructions and

gradually becomes what their parents want him to be. During

this whole period of dependency the parents do what they
think is good for their child. The big change in a child's life
comes when his schooling starts. This is the best part of his
life when he learns how to make friends, how to play and
behave with others apart from his studies. As he grows and
reaches to his pubirty he starts realizing what is good for him
and what is not. Now he perceives that he has his own views
and thoughts on decisions taken by his parents about him.
He

wishes to be independent about what he should eat,

wear, and go without being interrupted or objected by

anyone. He finds in him courage to differ the views and
decisions his parents have taken for him about his studies,
way of life and his future and tries to convince them with his
point of view. At this critical stage of their child's life the
sensible parents immediately sense the seriousness of the
matter and are ready to mould their own views and re-think
about their child's welfare and in fact feel pride that their
child is finally has come of age and can think in a better way

about his future and they are happy to encourage and help
him to achieve his goal. But unfortunately it does not happen
in all the cases - there are some parents who hate to be
refused or objected. They consider that whatever they have
thought about their child is absolute and nobody can change
it- not even their own child has the right to speak against it.
This is a very sorry state of affairs - On one side there is a
child who thinks what is better for him and on the other side
there are stubborn parents who are not ready to realize that
their child is now no more a child he is grown up and possess
his own opinions about his life. Even if the child is wrong in
his thinking the wise thing for the parents would be to at
least talk to him and try to convince their child to review
about his thinking and present their own point of view with
politeness in order not to hurt their child's feeling- by doing
so they themselves should also consider their stand on the
matter of dispute. No doubt all the parents want a good
successful and happy life for their children but some times
just by throbing their decisions to their child without taking
care of their child's sentiments they invite an unding series
of skirmishes between them for the rest of their lives.

EXPRESS YOURSELF IN WRITING

If you wish to communicate intelligebly, persuade someone to
accept your views successfully, and socialize brilliantly then you

will need to know the art of writing. Write if you are happy- write if
you are sad- write when you have nothing to do - In your writing
describe your feelings, emotions, angers, dreams, hopes your
likes, dislikes, achievements and failures or whatever you think,
see, observe and experience-- just put them down in your diary or
journal. Your writing will reflect who you are as a person. You have
many characters around you about whom you may never have
paid heed. Now observe them and write about their attitude,
behaviour, their attributes, their virtues and vices - write about your
friends, relatives, neighbors. If you are interested in politics, see
who is doing what and pen down few sentences about them. You
will soon realize that your vocabulary has increased dramatically
while writing on different subjects and ideas. Nature is another
subject about which you can write profusely- mountains, trees,
seas, rivers, moon, sky, sun an stars - just think about them and
then write about them and you will feel that perhaps you may not
have thought so deeply about these blessings before. Expel out of
your mind the ideas, wishes and dreams, which have been lying
dormant in you mind for so long by expressing them in your writing.
As you write you will feel that you have thrown away a huge burden
you have been carrying uselessly for so long. A sense of lightness
will encircle you. The most distinguishing quality you should have is
your shear self-confidence in yourself - you must feel it that you are
talented enough to convert your thoughts into words and for it you
do not necessarily have to possess Master's degree with you
because as a novice in the process of writing you just have to pen
down by using small and simple sentences and easy vocabulary- I
understand that to start with you are bound to make mistakes in
terms of spellings, selection of vocabualry and grammar but
gradually with the span of time you will gain confidence and be able
to write more accurately and flawlessly. Keep one or two good
dictionaries with you to help you in choosing appropriate words in
your writing. Remember, your writing is the expression of your
innerself. Your writing should be easy to read and understand.
Always avoid using ambiguous words - never use long sentences

where you can use multiple sentences to be more understandable Always be clear and focused what you intend to write. In your
revision of your draft you can correct your grammar, spellings and
vocabulary. An extensive vocabulary can help bring your writing to
life which will certainly enable you to better describe the world
around you.

You'll need to be able to communicate clearly, persuade

successfully, and entertain brilliantly.

Here, let me tell you one thing that at this stage you should not
think that you are writing because you want to get it pubslished.

I repeat this is your first stage and all you require is just to pen
down to make sure that you can write something. When you have
enough practice of writing you can then think of getting your writing
published anywhere you want.
You may have found people who are very good at speaking but
when it comes to writing they are below par in their expression.
Why is it so? It is because writing is a different aspect altogether.
aspect The main thing is that you have succeeded in converting
your thoughts into words and that is what you need at the first
stage.

through writing we express our feelings - our hopes, dreams, and

joys as well as our fears, angers and frustrations. Through writing
we express our ideas- our plants, our recommendations, our
values and our commitments. We explain to others who we are,
what we believe and understand, and why we believe and
understand as we do. Writing the, is a means to sift and refine our
perceptions of the world around us.

Writing is the primary basis upon which your work, your learning,
and your intellect will be judgedin college, in the workplace, and
in the community.
Writing expresses who you are as a person.
Writing is portable and permanent. It makes your thinking visible.
Writing helps you move easily among facts, inferences, and
opinions without getting confusedand without confusing your
reader.

Writing promotes your ability to pose worthwhile questions.

Writing fosters your ability to explain a complex position to readers,
and to yourself.
Writing helps others give you feedback.
Writing helps you refine your ideas when you give others feedback.
Writing requires that you anticipate your readers needs. Your
ability to do so demonstrates your intellectual flexibility and
maturity.
Writing ideas down preserves them so that you can reflect upon
them later.
Writing out your ideas permits you to evaluate the adequacy of
your argument.
Writing stimulates you to extend a line of thought beyond your first
impressions or gut responses.
Writing helps you understand how truth is established in a given
discipline.
Writing equips you with the communication and thinking skills you
need to participate effectively in democracy.
Writing is an essential job skill.

Many people want to write something but they don't just because
they fear they can't.

I was one of them. Whenever I read a book, a newspaper or a

magazine, or on internet I always thought that I should also write
something to express my observations about life, my experience of
life, etc.

To a Skylark
Summary
The speaker, addressing a skylark, says that it is a blithe Spirit
rather than a bird, for its song comes from Heaven, and from its full
heart pours profuse strains of unpremeditated art. The skylark
flies higher and higher, like a cloud of fire in the blue sky, singing
as it flies. In the golden lightning of the sun, it floats and runs, like
an unbodied joy. As the skylark flies higher and higher, the
speaker loses sight of it, but is still able to hear its shrill delight,
which comes down as keenly as moonbeams in the white dawn,
which can be felt even when they are not seen. The earth and air
ring with the skylarks voice, just as Heaven overflows with
moonbeams when the moon shines out from behind a lonely
cloud.

The speaker says that no one knows what the skylark is, for it is
unique: even rainbow clouds do not rain as brightly as the shower
of melody that pours from the skylark. The bird is like a poet

hidden / In the light of thought, able to make the world experience

sympathy with hopes and fears it heeded not. It is like a lonely
maiden in a palace tower, who uses her song to soothe her
lovelorn soul. It is like a golden glow-worm, scattering light among
the flowers and grass in which it is hidden. It is like a rose
embowered in its own green leaves, whose scent is blown by the
wind until the bees are faint with too much sweet. The skylarks
song surpasses all that ever was, / Joyous and clear and fresh,
whether the rain falling on the twinkling grass or the flowers the
rain awakens.
Calling the skylark Sprite or Bird, the speaker asks it to tell him its
sweet thoughts, for he has never heard anyone or anything call
up a flood of rapture so divine. Compared to the skylarks, any
music would seem lacking. What objects, the speaker asks, are
the fountains of thy happy strain? Is it fields, waves, mountains,
the sky, the plain, or love of thine own kind or ignorance or pain?
Pain and languor, the speaker says, never came near the skylark:
it loves, but has never known loves sad satiety. Of death, the
skylark must know things more true and deep than mortals could
dream; otherwise, the speaker asks, how could thy notes flow in
such a crystal stream?
For mortals, the experience of happiness is bound inextricably with
the experience of sadness: dwelling upon memories and hopes for
the future, mortal men pine for what is not; their laughter is
fraught with some pain; their sweetest songs are those that tell
of saddest thought. But, the speaker says, even if men could
scorn / Hate and pride and fear, and were born without the
capacity to weep, he still does not know how they could ever
approximate the joy expressed by the skylark. Calling the bird a
scorner of the ground, he says that its music is better than all
music and all poetry. He asks the bird to teach him half the
gladness / That thy brain must know, for then he would overflow
with harmonious madness, and his song would be so beautiful

that the world would listen to him, even as he is now listening to the
skylark.

whining and ends with it. this category of people forget that all is
not bad in life- it is a matter of how you see things- You can extract
something positive out of the negative. It is only a matter how you
conceive your problems or troubles you are facing. We get life for
only once so why should not we live it with happiness. Now actually
