Madam,
SHOW CAUSE LETTER REPLY OF UNAUTHORISED ABSENCE FROM COMPULSORY
ACADEMIC CLASSES
I wish to show cause as to why I didnt attend the referred classes as being
mentioned in the Student Misconduct Complaint Form that I had received in the past 2
weeks. I hope you will consider the following explanation of circumstances that have affected
my attendance record.

In the Student Misconduct Complaint Form, I was found guilty of committing the
following disciplinary offences:

Not attending the SCE academic class on 16 October 2014 (9.00-10.00am)

Im acutely aware of the possible consequences due to committing these offences as
have already been stated in Act 174, such as being duly fined or penalised. Honestly, I dont
have a solid argument to concretely back up my misconducts. Nevertheless, I ought to
provide you with the actual reasons prior to the case.

I shall state that the most accurate and only reason pertaining to these misconducts
was due to an oversleeping problem of mine. More often than not, If I take a nap, I tend to
oversleep would be the best circumstance in case of me. I know you dont have to accept
my irresponsible answer but seriously I cant think of any other answers or otherwise I will be
accused as lying.

Since this is my last semester here, I am hopeful that you will eventually forgive me. I
promise to myself that Ill change my attitude when I become a teacher next year. No time to
adapt will be my new mantra and therefore I will be doing to my best ability. This
circumstance also gives me a glimpse of hope so that you could forgive my excessive
misdemeanours till this point.

Hopefully you will be able to at least tolerate my bad behaviour for this time again
and only again. Im really sorry to have caused you so much trouble. I would be grateful if
you could re-consider the decision of disciplinary action against me.
I appreciate your infinite patience when dealing with me. Its going to be my great pleasure
meeting with you next year if chance permits. Thank you very much for your time and
consideration.
