CCW MiraDRAIN ® HC Drainage Board

GENERAL:
CCW MiraDRAIN HC is a high-flow drainage composite used in place of traditional drainage gravel and filter fabrics in
conjunction with Carlisle’s Intensive/ Deep Roof Garden Waterproofing System. It is constructed of a 1” thick, three-
dimensional, high-impact polystyrene core wrapped with a non-woven filter fabric. The filter fabric is bonded to the
individual dimples of the molded polystyrene core to minimize fabric intrusion into the flow channels caused by backfill
pressure. The fabric also serves as a filter medium to prevent the passage of particles into the core, while allowing excess
water to pass freely into the drainage system. This construction allows for up to 3 times the drainage capacity of
conventional aggregate or sand drainage layers. The dimpled core eliminates “channeling”, and provides a uniform
flow path for water to escape. In addition, the excellent compressive strength resists damage from construction
traffic and overburden.
