Regional Championships are administrated by BFU Regional Councils

Each Zone consists of:

- youth teams of A and B Division Men teams

- youth teams of C Division Men teams (optional)

Zonal Championships are administrated by BFU Zone Councils

16 teams participate in round system of a 2-half season

4 out of 7 substitute players are allowed to play in a game
Coaches must possess UEFA B diploma or higher

Elite U-17 Championship is administrated by BFU Youth Department

4 out of 7 substitute players are allowed to play in a game
4 professional players (older than 19) of the same club are
allowed to play in the Championship

Elite U-19 Championship is administrated by BFU Youth Department

28 Regional tournaments in the 4 BFU Zones

16 teams participate in the Final Stage on elimination bases

- Sofia Zone 5 teams;
- Plovdiv Zone 5 teams;
- Veliko Tarnovo Zone 3 teams;
- Varna Zone 3 teams

Participation rights:
- boys (players born after 01.01.1997)
- Youth U-16 (players born after 01.01.1995)
- Youth U-18 (players born after 01.01.1993)

Regional and Zonal Councils organize small sided

tournaments for boys U-11 with small-size goals

Regional and Zonal Councils organize tournaments

for boys U-13 with normal-size goals

6 out of 7 substitute players are allowed to play in a game

Regional and Zonal Councils issue the Regulations for the tournaments

UEFA Study Group Scheme Title

BFU Regional Councils, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sports

organize the following tournaments:

3th-4th grade students, 2x35min

5th-6th grade students, 2x35min

7th-8th grade students, 2x35min

9th-12th grade students, 2x45min
