Utilitarianism
Utilitarianism is mainly characterized by two elements: happiness and
consequentialism. Utilitarian happiness is the biggest happiness which every human being
looks for. In utilitarianism everything useful to happiness is good. Utility is found in every
thing which contributes to the happiness of every rational being. Consequentialism in
utilitarianism is in the fact that an action must be judged for its consequences on the happiness
of the largest number. That is, for happiness stops when it decreases the happiness of another
individual or the happiness of the largest number, of the society or the community. As
personal freedom is considered in respect of the freedom of other individuals and of the
community, my freedom stops when it diminishes the freedom of another individual or the
well-being of the society.
I think utilitarian as something like the following;
- The good of a society is the sum of happiness of the individuals in that society.
- The purpose of morality is promotion of the good of society.

Deontological
The deontological theory states that people should adhere to their obligations and
duties when analyzing an ethical dilemma. This means that a person will follow his or her
obligations to another individual or society because upholding one's duty is what is
considered ethically correct (1,2). For instance, a deontologist will always keep his promises
to a friend and will follow the law. A person who follows this theory will produce very
consistent decisions since they will be based on the individual's set duties.

Bhopal case
On December 3, 1984, poisonous gas leaked from Union Carbide India Limited
(UCIL's) pesticide plant in Bhopal, which killed thousands of people.

First let is about utilitarianism, they can be good thing produce insert powder. They
cover all people and they contributes to the countrys development. If this case were in
America, the results would be even greater. Much more people will die.
About deontological, because of their lots of people died. If they had taken necessary
measures, these case wouldnt be.

Kurtlar Vadisi example

Polat alemdar and his men that people doing same things Polat alemdar are fighting
with mafia in Turkey. This mafia will be damage of Turkey. He and his men are fighting all
of the mafia members and they protect Turkish people.
This mafia are damaging to people. So polat they triying stopped all things.

consequentialism If we look at the terms of utilitarianism in my example that Kurtlar Vadisi,
we can see polat alemdar and his men try to good things for country. For example they get
hold of the guns in the hands of gunrunner and they can be killing people for doing this and
also heroin, cocain etc. Similar material uses is increase in Turkey and it increase dead. Polat
alemdar and his men are inhibit the sale of bad things. So it decrase dead.
Other side, The deontological theory states that people should adhere to their
obligations and duties when analyzing an ethical dilemma. if we look at the deontological
terms in my example that Kurtlar Vadisi, we can see polat alemdar and his men doing
somethings wrong for example they killing people. Even the people that polat alemdars
killed are member of the mafia, this is not true also polat alemdar and his men should not kill.
Polat alemdar and his men are establishing to mafia and they encourage people for
establishing mafia. Polat alemdar and his men are consistant use of weapon and individual
armament will ncrease and they give harm to people.
