The Franciscan Association of Mathematics Enthusiasts (FAME) is an academic, nonprofit, student-initiated organization that is
dedicated and devoted to promoting academic excellence, leadership, community involvement and mathematical enthusiasm
among its members and fellow mathematically inclined students of Saint Francis Committees

Executive Committee

President
Executive Vice President
Vice President for Logistics and Operations
Vice President for Marketing and Finance
Vice President for Secretariat
Vice President for Publicity and External Affairs

Publicity and External Affairs (At least 4 members)

Design, create and implement advertisements, letterheads, publications, online pubmats and other publicity
materials needed by the organization.
Facilitate distribution, branding and circulation of publicity materials to members and concerned parties.
Responsible for advertising and promoting the organizations events and activities to its members, school officials and
other schools (if necessary).
Establish harmonious and mutual relationships with other organizations and institutions.

Secretariat (At least 3 members)

Document the organizations activities and meetings.


Archive all records, documents and files with relation to the organization for future use.
Draft letters and other communication schemes needed by the organization.
Perform other clerical tasks as prescribed by the Executive Committee.

Marketing and Finance (At least 5 members)

Responsible for implementing fund-raising schemes for the organizations activities.


Implement marketing strategies to find sponsors for the organizations major activities.
Submit properly accounted financial report (signed by the committee head) and copies of receipts to the Executive
Committee and Organizations adviser.
Responsible and accountable for the state and safety of the organizations funds.

Logistics and Operations (At least 4 members)

Canvass materials and sites for the organizations activities and meetings.
Responsible for planning, handling and execution of the programs and operations in all events of the organization.
Prepare all logistic needs of the organization
Ensure the smooth flow of all the organizations events.

Executive Committee
The President has the following duties, responsibilities and functions:

To head the Executive Committee and coordinate with its other members.

To be the primary signatory in letters, plan of actions and other documents released by the organization.

To be the official representative of the organization in all of its events.

To make the deciding vote in case the votes of the Executive Committee is deadlocked.

To authorize the actions taken by other members of the Executive Committee.

The Executive Vice President has the following duties, responsibilities and functions:

To be the representative of the organization in case of the Presidents absence.

To be the secondary signatory in letters, plan of actions and other documents released by the organization.

To organize and coordinate all plans of action of the other members of the executive committee.

To ensure that the Vice Presidents are doing their roles, tasks and responsibilities.

To organize and relay all plans of action of the Vice Presidents to the President.

To assist the President in all of the organizations undertakings, events and activities.

To perform additional duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed of him/her by the Executive Committee.

The Vice President for Secretariat has the following duties, responsibilities and functions:

To Head the Secretariat Committee in their tasks, duties and responsibilities.

To take down minutes of all meetings the organization is involved with or assign a representative of the committee to
do so.

Responsible for all of the members, actions and undertakings of the Secretariat Committee.

To be the primary signatory in all of the outputs of the Secretariat Committee.

To perform additional duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed of him/her by the Executive Committee.

The Vice President for Publicity and External Affairs has the following duties, responsibilities and functions:

To Head the Publicity and External Affairs Committee in their tasks, duties and responsibilities.

To represent the organization in all external affairs as authorized by the President.

To take charge of all the organizations outputs, designs, and publications.

Responsible for all of the members, actions and undertakings of the Publicity and External Affairs Committee.

To be the primary signatory in all the outputs of the Publicity and External Affairs Committee.

To perform additional duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed of him/her by the Executive Committee.

The Vice President for Marketing and Finance Committee has the following duties, responsibilities and functions:

To head the Marketing and Finance Committee in their tasks, duties and responsibilities.

To manage and keep record of funds and financial transactions of the organization.

To release an organized, properly accounted and signed financial report at the end of each major event and end of
each semester.

To ensure the collection of fees from members for any event that the organization is promoting.

To authorize all the disbursement of funds of the organization with the approval of the President.

To be the primary signatory in all of outputs of the Marketing and Finance Committee.

Responsible for all of the members, actions and undertakings of the Marketing and Finance Committee.

Responsible and accountable for the state and safety of the organizations funds.

To perform additional duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed of him/her by the Executive Committee.

The Vice President for Logistics and Operations Committee has the following duties, responsibilities and functions:

To head the logistics and Operations Committee in their tasks, duties and responsibilities.

To make major decisions on the rooms and materials prescribed by the Committee.

To draft plans on the flow of events hosted by the organization.

To be the primary signatory in all the outputs of the Logistics and Operations Committee.

Responsible for all of the members, actions and undertakings of the Logistics and Operations Committee.

To search for hosts of the organizations events.

To assign and search for personnel and staff for all the organizations events.

To perform additional duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed of him/her by the Executive Committee.
