The Bax trio:

The Bax Trio is a Chamber Ensemble, which was founded at the Royal College
of Music in September 2013. Its members consist of Javier Leon Collado (flt),
Anna Quiroga (harp) and Elliot Corner (vla), who study Chamber Music
alongside their own individual Solo and Orchestral studies.
The Bax Trio have participated in several public Concerts, Recitals, and diverse
activities organized by RCMs Chamber Music Department alongside having
had coaching with internationally renowned Professors Ieuan Jones (Harp) and
Sue Thomas (Flute). Having achieved high marks in their Chamber
Examinations, The Bax Trio is continuing their prowess by performing more
often and entering International Chamber Contests.

Javier Leon Collado:

Javier Leon is a Spanish flute player who studied at the Conservatorio Superior
de Msica de Aragon (Zaragoza), and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's
Degree ( in Musical Performance? ) . He is currently in his second year studying
for a Master's Degree in Orchestral Performance at the Royal College of Music
in London, learning with Professor Sue Thomas and Professor Gareth Davies,
and is being generously supported by the Study Award in recognition of
progress" Scholarship Award from the RCM.
Javier is a dedicated Orchestral Musician, having played with several
ensembles including the Youth Symphony Galicia Orchestra and Youth Spanish
Orchestra or Galicia Symphony Orchestra.
Alongside Orchestral Music, he also has a keen interest in Chamber Music, and
is currently working and performing with a number of different Chamber Music
groups such as the Cataleya Wind Quintet, the Salduie Wind Quintet, and The
Bax Trio. He has taken part in several New Perspectives Projects from RCM,
and been a participant in the Foyle Future First London Philharmonic Orchestra
program, amongst others.

Elliot Corner:

Elliot Corner, Violist and Composer, currently in a contract with OLC Barcelona
Music, is currently studying both Subjects at the Royal College of Music of
London with the renowned Professors Simon Rowland-Jones and Jonathan
Pitkin. He is a Foundation Scholar, generously supported by The Henriette
Schoeller Harrison Elt & Anatole Mines Award and a Douglas & Hilda
Simmonds Award. At the RCM, Elliot has participated in Masterclasses and
received tuition from such musicians as Jennifer Stumm, Jan Repko, Simon
Rowland-Jones, Alina Ibragimova and Richard Lester.

As a composer, he has had works performed in many venues around the UK,
including the Blthner Piano Centre and the Carpenter's Hall, and had
performed as a Soloist at venues including St John's, Smith Square, The Royal
College of Music, St Mary Abbot's Church, Steinway Hall, The Blthner Piano
Centre and St Peter's Church, Blatchington.
Elliot has a passion for Chamber Music, and currently plays as a Chamber
Musician in the Ziman Quartet, the Oka Quartet, the London Jewish Players,
the Bax Trio, the Halvorsen Duo and the Mirilan Quartet.

Anna Quiroga

Anna Quiroga started studying the harp at the early age of five years old with
Ma. Llusa Ibez, and continued with her studies in the Conservatori Municipal
de Msica de Barcelona (CMMB). In 2009, she started at the Conservatori
Superior del Liceu, with Abigail Prat as harp teacher, and Marta Pujol and Paul
Cortesse as chamber music professors, where she got her bachelor degree in
2013. She is currently doing a Master in Performance at the Royal College of
Music with Ieuan Jones, being supported by a Stanley Picker Award and the
Agust Pere I Pons Foundations Scholarship.

Anna has won the Arpa Plus award several times, as well as two editions of
the UFAM Paris contest, and recently the Concurso Permanente de Jvenes
Intrpretes from JJMM of Spain. She has also been rewarded with the
undergraduate honour award.

She has as well collaborated with various orchestras, such as Giorquestra, and
participated in several music festivals like 30 minuts (Mas&Mas Foundation),
and Festival Internacional d arpa de Sentmenat. Anna has also given recitals
extensively in Spain, in noted Concert Halls such as the Auditori Enric
Granados de Lleida, Palau del Mar i del Cel de Sitges, and Palau de la Msica
Catalana de Barcelona.
