System Description
MAUS Health and Safety software system assists Woolworths Limited by complying
with the latest Health and Safety AS/NZS 4801 Legislation (Australian Made)
requirements. As well as assisting with health and safety requirement, its system can
quickly put into place documentation, which can comply with various legal obligations
that Woolworths continually has to meet. The WHS/OHS system is a compilation of
policy/procedures templates that are designed to work in agreement with the latest
Harmonisation Legislation. Furthermore, on our own WHS procedures, it can save
the company from 50 to 90% of the time usually taken to manually develop each
individual
procedure.
The software is
ideal for
quickly managing
document
control and audit
history,
which is a problem
that
Woolworths is also
facing. The
system/program is
designed to
be fully compatible
with
Microsoft Office
Word and
also allows you to
import
already made
policies/procedures
into the
program/system.
In addition,
the system also
provides an
automated policy acknowledgement email system, which informs the necessary
employees of the changes, but also allows them to post a response to the alteration.
This saves on time by not having to chase up employees for their compliance. By
Woolworths limited implementing this system, it will assist with complying to
Australian Legislation requirements, quickly assemble appropriate legal
documentation and having the option of generic templates that meet Australian WHS
standards. The system can save up to 90% of time usually spent on assembling
appropriate policy documents. It is also excellent for managing documents and audit
history. As a final note, the system is highly compatible with MS Word, which makes
it more than ideal for Woolworths Limited.
