INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATIONS: The HSE Rig Pass orientation must be taught by an IADC-approved instructor.

3, Training or on-the-job instructional experience

STUDENT ASSESSMENT: One of the following:
1) a dated checklist in which key elements are initialed by both the employee and the person administering
2) a knowledge or skills test
CARD OF COMPLETION: When issuing HSE Rig Pass cards, a training provider may choose from either (or both)
options.
1) The program may purchase pre-numbered cards (in sheets of 10 cards) from IADC.
2) The program may purchase unique certificate/card numbers from IADC and use these numbers on certificates a
cards it produces.
SITE VISITS: Accredited Programs shall be routinely visited at least once during the 3-year accreditation period
ACCREDITATION PRIVILEGES: A Program, once accredited, may use the HSE Rig Pass accreditation program lo
the IADC member logo on course materials and for promotion of the course. The IADC member logo should not be
any completion card or certificate.
