I am much thankful to ALLAH Almighty the most gracious, the most merciful who has given
me ability to complete this research project. I pray that HE continued to shower His countless
blessing and gives me the knowledge to achieve my goals. All this respect for this Holy Prophet
Hazrat MUHAMMAD (SAW) who enlighten my mind to recognize myself.
I am also grateful to Mr. ZainulAbideen (Branch Manager), Mr. Munawar Zia ullah
(Operational Manager) and Mr. Muhammad Imran Janjua (Incharge Manager) of Meezan
Bank Limited, Dal Bazar Branch Gujranwala without whose guidance and support it would not
have been possible for me to accomplish this assignment.
Furthermore, I am thankful to the staff of Meezan Bank Limited, Dal Bazar Branch, Gujranwala
from whom I have gained much experience regarding operational work of Bank.
The last but not least I convey my credit and thankfulness to Punjab College Authorities without
whose well in time support and guidance it would be much difficult for me to achieve this task
successfully.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In professional education with practical knowledge, it is necessary for us to know the application
of this practical work.
I feel much honor that I got the chance to work in such a reputable bank of the Pakistan. During
my training program I tried my best to gain all the important knowledge related to my training.
In this report I explain the knowledge that I have gained during my training program. This report
consists of 5 chapters. In chapter 1 I have explained the history, introduction of the bank.
Chapter 1 also includes the vision, mission of the bank, customers, and branches of the bank. In
chapter 1 these are also included such as the type of ownership of the bank, products offered by
the bank, functions performed by the bank.

Chapter 1 also consisted of the critical analysis of the bank, I have explained the major
responsibilities undertaken during internship program, I have explained the skills and
qualifications acquired from training program, I have explained the impact of internship on
future career path, I have explained the overall comparison between theories and practical, I have
explained the general observation about the sector of the bank.

Chapter 2 of this report I have explained the internship activities during my training program.
This chapter includes how I have worked 6 weeks in all the departments of the bank. What I
learned and gained during my training program. What were the responsibilities during my
internship period? I have explained the working of each department that I have done during my
training program. I have learned a lot of knowledge about customer service department, about
the clearing, remittance department, and cash department etc.

Chapter 3 of this report consists of competitive analysis of the bank. In the competitive analysis I
have explained the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats. I have explained how strengths
can be used to remove the weaknesses and how opportunities can be availed, and how threats can
be removed?

In the chapter 4 of this report I have explained the financial analysis of the bank. I have
explained the financial worthiness of the bank. The financial analysis of the Meezan bank shows
a very positive sign for the banking industry. The financial analysis shows the financial strength
of the Meezan bank. The financial analysis showed the growth rate of the bank. The growth rate
of the bank is very faster. Bank growing fastly. And this showed a positive sign for the banking
industry and also for the bank growth.

Chapter 5 of this report consists of the suggestions, conclusion etc. This part of the report is very
necessary part.

I tried my best to explain the whole banking activities that I have learned during my training
program. I tried my ever best to explain what I learnt during my internship program. I learnt a lot
that I never know before my training program. I learnt the basic banking rules, banking activities.
I learnt that the banking is separate sector away from all the businesses. This sector has its
separate rules and separate regulations away from all businesses.
I have also learned from my training program that it is necessary for professional education to
work practically. Without practical work, students cant able to understand the theoretical
knowledge. To understand the theoretical knowledge its very important for the professionals to
work in practically. And this can be done only by practical knowledge.
