Indeed, we only officially accepted them for a few hours before that, I just gave out my PayPal
address to interested people. Working on setting up a direct CC payment processor, either Stripe or
2ch.net's.

address because he was so famous I thought it was a troll. I was explicitly told this was not a donation
for 8chan after the money was given, and will be using it to buy myself a wheelchair accessible van for
transportation.

* Aaron Parnes charged me office rent for my last month in New York, so the $1300 cash was paid to
him.
* My moving expenses were $562.04 I covered my plane ticket to Manila out of my personal funds.
* We are still holding the remainder: $637.96 for possible legal expenses I've recently hired Mike
Cernovich to screen legal complaints we get. He's doing it on a pro bono basis for now, but will most
likely start charging lol
OBLIGATIONS:
$150 was paid to Aeosynth for quote inlining.
$300 was paid to czaks for infinite scroll (All button) and the public bans page.
The USD equivalent of 1.5BTC (currently $397.40) is obligatory to pay to czaks (vichan-devel comaintainer) for a working private CAPTCHA implementation. I could have done it myself by now ;_; I
was hoping to put it up before even flying to Manila...
8chan.co has no other obligations to developers at this time.

CLOUDFLARE: $20 last payment to them, they fucked up the site's SSL without warning
ONLINE.NET: $37.72 last payment to them, just needed the backup server for a few more days and
didn't move it quickly enough
How is 8chan.co handling hosting now?

2ch.net is investing in 8chan.co and providing hosting for free. They want to try out ads on the site
the current ones that are up were not profitable at all, so we will be getting new ones but they have a
strong belief that ads on 8chan can be profitable just like ads on 2ch.net are. 2ch.net is aware of my
promise not to censor the site, and they support it 100%. 2ch.net has supported free speech, that is, all
speech that is protected under US law without exception in Japan since the year 1999. I made the
8chan.co source code open source before parterning with them in case things ever went south, someone
could make a new site. I also maintain control of the 8chan.co domain.
This is a win-win situation for us for now we have virtually no hosting costs and a strong ally who
believes in our ability to succeed and take up a sizable chunk of the English language imageboard
market with ideals that are stronger than those of our competitors.

After last month's shortfall of $51.66: $934.07
I have decided to attempt to have 8chan.co as my job, and have as such paid myself $800 out of the
total for staff expenses.
Please note, I'll only be doing this while it's possible I'll find other work way before I let 8chan die. I
paid for 8chan.co out of pocket for almost a year and would do it again if needed as well Right now,
since it's possible, it's better for the site to have me on email, server work and /meta/ 8 hours per day.
