THE LAST DAY

OF
JESUS CHRIST

By: Qazi Ghulam Mustafa

The Christians proclaim that Jesus is one of the Holy Trinity and was sent to the Earth
having a mission to vanish the curse “his Father” mistakenly imposed upon the mankind
and they further exploit that Jesus had himself crucified for the sins of mankind, so that
now anyone believe that Jesus is crucified for his sins, he already has his salvation and is
redeemed from the curse of God.

This gives a vivid picture that if there is no crucifixion, there is “NO CHRISTIANITY”.
As Paul testifies in 1 Corinthians 15:14 “If Jesus be not risen from the dead our faith
is vein, ye are yet in your sins”.

PRODUCE YOUR EVIDENCE

For any matter to fight for or discuss for, Quran tells us ask for the proof like any judicial
court of present day:

“Say, Produce your proof, if you are truthful."

(Al-Quran 2:111)

The Christians have done so, they have produced their Bible in 2000 different languages,
so as we challenged them and on their production we now have to go through their record
to analyze right from the wrong.

WAY TO ANALYZE

Supposedly, if examination answer sheet of a school child is lost by the teacher and the
kid is not prepared for re-examination, the only way to declare his result would be his
post examination activities. Had he taken part class activities, delivered assignments on
time etc, he would be declared PASS. I am sure you will agree. As the Gospels of Jesus’
elected disciples like Mark, Mathew and John never claim that the reason of Jesus’
crucifixion is their “original sin”. So we have no other option left but to analyze post
crucifixion activities of Jesus Christ to understand the situation better.

PASSOVER FEAST

In the Passover evening, Jesus with his twelve was having chat in the upper room. At that
time he knew that Judas had committed trait with him and that Judas sold his faith and his
“Lord” only for a few pieces of silver. So Jesus says:

“What ye doeseth, do quickey”

(John 13:27)
And he takes from his disciples the oath to be with him in his hour of need, and they all
promised: “Master we are prepared to die for you, we are prepared to go to prison for
you” Mathew 26:35.

Jesus had to take this oath, as he knew the rebellion of jews and after the trait of Judas,
Jesus was sure that this is the end of his ministry. So he asked his disciples to arm
themselves and they said Master we have two swords already (Luke 22:38).

The “PRINCE OF PEACE” as Christians boast was provoked in anger to such an extent
that he ordered his disciples:

“I should reign over them, whosoever doesn’t want me as his king, bring them
hither and slay them before me”
(Luke 19:27)

PREPARATION OF WAR

Surely Jesus was not a coward to wait and watch for Jews to have a ready meal. He was
ready for a showdown without frightening his disciples:

“When I sent you without purse and scrip and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they
said Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now he that has no purse, let him take it
and likewise his bag; and he that has no sword, let him sell his garments and buy
one”
(Luke 22:35-36)

Of coarse he was preparing for a war, but why??? Did he not advise them earlier to “turn
the other cheek” and to “forgive seventy times seven” and did he not send his chosen
twelve with the advice: “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be
ye, therefore, as wise as serpents, and as harmless as doves”
(Mathew 10:16)

The answer is; because the circumstances changes so as a wise man he changed hid
policy too. As told earlier, his disciples said: “Lord, behold, here are two swords, and
he said unto them, it is enough” (Luke 22:38).

The Christians keeping the image of their gentle and peaceful Jesus, say that he was
talking about spiritual swords. Well if this is the case then the garments he told to sell for
a sword, must also be spiritual. Spiritual swords for spiritual garments. If disciples were
to sell spiritual garments to buy spiritual swords, then spiritually they all become
NAKED.

Furthermore, one cannot chop off people’s ear with spiritual sword:

“And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his
sword and struck a servant of High Priest’s and cut off his ear”
(Mathew 26:51)

Surely the swords were to chop off people’s heads. He then took his army to Gethsemane
– a courtyard, and places eight of the eleven at the gate and commanded them:

“sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder”

(Mathew 26:36).

The question is why Jesus went to Garden? To pray? Could they have not prayed in that
upper room? And why Jesus did not take those eight with him to pray and left them at the
gate? It is obvious that pray was not all that he wanted but he went to Garden so that they
might be in a better position to defend themselves.

Hence he appoints eight at the gate as outer line of defense and took Peter, John and
James inside and said: “tarry ye here and watch with me” (Mathew 26:37-38). That
was the inner line of defense that Jesus planned.

JESUS WANTS RESCUE

Leaving THE THREE on the inner line Jesus said:

“Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye
here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and
prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me:
nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”

(Mathew 26:38-39).

“And being in agony, he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat was, as it were, great
drops of Blood falling down to the ground”
(Luke 22:44)

As we are told that Jesus was destined to die for the sins of mankind and he was prepared
for this sacrifice or in other words SUICIDE before this universe came into being. Is this
how one attempt suicide, with the prayers to rescue, blood-curdling cries and
complaining. We can conclude from the order of getting his disciples to arm themselves
and a masterful setup of self defense and the blood-sweating prayers to pass the buck
over, that Jesus knew nothing about the heavenly contract for his crucifixion.

If God planned to redeem the sins of mankind through the blood of Jesus Christ, then He
chose a wrong candidate. This candidate was most reluctant to die. Arming! Wailing!
Complaining! Sweating! Crying!.....

Lord Nelson would have done a better job, as he gave his life with these words:
“THANK GOD, I HAVE DONE MY DUTY”

In contrast Jesus says:

“ELI, ELI, LA’MA SABACH’THANI” which means “OH LORD, OH LORD,

WHY HAST THOU FORESAKEN ME?”

It is clear from all his post crucifixion activities that, neither was he appointed to redeem
the sins of mankind, nor was he crucified. He was a man who escaped death by the skin
of his teeth.

Major Yeats-Brown, in his "Life of a Bengal Lancer" says,

"NO HEATHEN TRIBE HAS CONCEIVED SO GROTESQUE AN

IDEA, INVOLVING AS IT DOES THE ASSUMPTION, THAT MAN
WAS BORN WITH A HEREDITARY STAIN UPON HIM: AND THAT
THIS STAIN (FOR WHICH HE WAS NOT PERSONALLY
RESPONSIBLE) WAS TO BE ATONED FOR: AND THAT THE
CREATOR OF ALL THINGS HAD TO SACRIFICE HIS ONLY
BEGOTTEN SON TO NEUTRALISE THIS MYSTERIOUS CURSE."

Quran also gives us a clear picture of the happenings,

No one can ever give such a determined statement regarding any happenings of the death
of Jesus Christ. This is Allah, Al-Knowing, That makes such a vivid picture that
whatever happened, but Jesus Christ was not killed nor he was crucified, but it appeared
to people so, and those who say that Jesus is dead, are full of doubts.

Christians need to open their records again and read the story with the glasses of Holy
Quran to know that where the truth lies.
