As we are eagerly waiting to welcome the dawn of the New Year; let us dedicate our‐
selves  to  live  in  harmony  with  God  and  others.  Believers  should  be  known  for  their 
eagerness to do good and help others. In everything that we do, whether we relate to 
each other or worship, we ought to give glory to God. Always remember that our goal 
is not to please us but to please our Lord Jesus. Spiritual gifts glorify God and build up 
Page 3  the Body of Christ. Gifts should never be misused, envied or cause division. The mark 
of spirit ‐ filled men and women is the fruit they bear. Fruit is the standard by which 
our God can be measured.  

Your gifts, talents and abilities should build up other believers. Let us take a decision 
to check our attitudes and with the help of the Holy Spirit renew everyday.

Praise  Time  ‐  The  monthly  praise  and  worship  service  for  the  month  of  November  was    held  on 
24 November 2009 at 8.30 pm. Bro. George C.K delivered the word of God.

CHARITY 
Charity is opening your heart and giving a hand to someone in need. Charity which comes from within the heart shows that you care 
and have compassion for the people around you. Charity is the giving of your time, energy and possessions for a worthy cause.  
‘If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear chil‐
dren, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth’ 1 John 3: 17‐18. 
‘Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food and if one of you says to him, go I wish you well, keep warm and well fed, 
but does nothing about his physical needs, What good is it?’ James 2: 15‐16. 
When you spent lakhs for the extravaganzas of your children’s marriage, have you ever thought of a person around you who is strug‐
gling to conduct his daughter’s marriage? When you construct luxurious mansions worth crores, can’t you just think about a person 
who  doesn’t  have  a  house?  When  God  blesses  you  with  riches  and  abundance  please  do  have  the  compassion  to  spare  a  little  to 
someone in need. Do you have the concern about the poor, the sick and the needy ?  The day of judgement is very near. One day you 
and I have to stand before the throne of grace. We are accountable to God. So let’s all humbly submit ourselves to God and love the 
poor, sick and the needy. 
PRAISE CARES  with the motto ‘Caring the World’ is the charity division of our ministry.    We have already started the campaign of 
fund raising for the charity projects 2009 ‐ 2010. The Approximate expenses for the project comes around IRs. 4,00,000. We have al‐
ready received some amounts and  promises for the Praise Matrimony Projects. We have yet to receive the support for the second 
Praise  Matrimony  and  Praise  Homes  project.  If  you  are  interested  to  support  our  projects,    please  contact  us  by  email,

Praise Matrimony is a charity project of Praise Cares with the motto ' Uniting Lives '. Last 
year we have conducted the marriage of two poor girls. This year again we are planning 
to conduct two marriages.  We have already received contributions for conducting one 
marriage.  We  hope  to  conduct  the  third  praise  matrimony  in  the  month  of    March  or

P r a i s e   H o m e s   i s   a n o t h e r   c h a r i t y  
project  of  Praise  Cares  with  the  motto  'Rebuilding 
Lives'.  The  first  Praise  home  will  be  constructed  for 
Mr. Sabu .P. John (Son of Mr. P.T. Pathrose, Church 
Worker)  Pullolickal,  Mallapally.  The  agreement  has 
been  signed  by  M/s.  Sunny  Joseph  &  Co.  Kottayam 
to construct the house. The Estimated cost is Rs. 1.5 
Lakhs. As we have not yet received  the estimated amount, we haven’t started the  PRESENT HOUSE OF MR. SABU .P.  JOHN 

construction works.  Those who wish to contribute for this noble cause,  please contact us by email. 
Praise Scholarship is another charity project of Praise Cares with the motto ‘Educating Lives’. We 
are planning to help 6 poor students  with their complete educational expenses.

Gods Promise 

God's promises are very meaningful. He intends for us to claim 
His promises. God promises that He will give us peace when we 
are going through difficult times in life. His promises encourage 
and energize us, and strengthen our faith when it is tested. 

There are two kinds of promises. Some are unconditional. Most 
are  conditional  on  something  we  must  do.  God's  fulfillment  of 
the  promise  is  based  on  our  fulfilling  our  responsibility.  When 
God  makes  a  promise  He  is  obligated  to  keep  that  promise.  If 
we want Him to keep His promise we must do our part.
