LEADING PROGRAMS
COTRUGLI MBA programs are not only an investment in knowledge, information and networks, nor are they just an investment in career advancement. Our MBA programs inspire participants to adopt an entrepreneurial
approach that will drive and deliver innovative products and services. Such
programs inspire our participants to develop both professionally and personally, and offer them an enhanced life.
Our programs are designed to provide a balance between organizational
and personal development. The reason why personal development is a part
of our programs lies in the fact that managers bring who they are to the
workplace, and who they are, as well as how they are, gives character to all
their actions, and influences people that surround them.

MBA
The curriculum for the MBA Program has been created to meet the needs
of junior and middle-managers. Some 70 percent of the curriculum is designed to cover a broad range of functional areas in order to sharpen
general managerial skills. The remaining 30 percent of the curriculum is
designed to enhance each participants interpersonal skills in order to help
them become effective managers and team players.
Unique blended -learning formula ensures minimum absence from work
since contact modules take place over eight separate weeks in several European locations.
Involvement of several participants from each organization is strongly encouraged. When these participants return to their organization, sharing of a
common knowledge base and a network they have created at COTRUGLI,
will place them in a better position to generate and implement new ideas
that can truly make a difference.
Executive MBA
The curriculum for the EMBA Program has been created to meet the needs
of middle and senior managers. Some 50 percent of the curriculum is designed to cover a broad range of functional areas in order to sharpen
general management skills. The remaining 50 percent of the curriculum is
designed to enhance each participants strategic thinking, leadership, and
interpersonal skills in order to develop them be more effective leaders and
change agents.
This two year program ensures minimum absence from work since most of
the modules take place one long weekend a month, usually from Friday
to Sunday. Therefore the programs structure is compatible with full-time
employment.
The curriculum for the CEMBA Program has been created to meet the
needs of senior executive management that are leading their organizations through the challenges of a globally competitive enterprise.
This includes CEOs and other top executives from all functional areas,
who have or will take on ever-increasing responsibilities as the geographic
scope of their business expands.
The program is seeking for business and government leaders who are willing to learn and debate key issues and solutions with world-class faculty
and fellow participants from around the globe.

MODULES
MBA, EMBA and CEMBA programs are structured through modules.
Modules are intensive, but also rewarding interactions between lecturers and
program participants. Format of a module depends on the subject being covered, but in general, it provides some or all of the following:

The content is designed to prepare participants for more comprehensive modules
that follow in the EMBA program. It aims to set an economic apparatus needed
to successfully manage a business organization in the 21st century. In addition
to basic problems of economic organization and how markets solve these problems, the course examines the role of the Government and the elements of supply and demand. Fundamental macroeconomic concepts (national output and
income, saving and investments, fiscal policy, money and the role of the Central
Bank) and policies (inflation, debt) are discussed. Participants will study basic
statistics and econometrics. In addition, fundamentals of management theory
are provided from historical background via scientific management and quantitative approach to current issues.
BUSINESS RESEARCH METHODS
The modules objective is to confront participants with an understanding of a
research plan and how it depends on information and available resources as
well as key considerations to design a feasible research approach. The course
provides the ways of planning research, selecting which business method to
use and how to select from among public data collection tools. Participants
are expected to understand different research techniques like appreciative inquiry, case study design, focus groups, interview design, setting questionnaires
and surveys and analyzing, interpreting and reporting results. Finally, the module explains the ethical approach to conducting research.

In the second section the participants work on the creation of a comprehensive
business plan and modification of its creative and entrepreneurial elements,
in order to fulfil the criteria necessary to launch a new business venture, new
product or implement a new development strategy for an existing business.
The final section consists of a presentation of the business plan to a committee
comprised of COTRUGLI faculty and Alumni members.
