The Epic Data 9600 is an industrial-strength kiosk used to collect data about your parts, people
and processes, and deliver and display information to shop floor users. It runs purpose-built
applications that workers and managers utilize to improve productivity and quality by making their

Dust-Resistant Circuitry: The fanless and IP53-sealed 9600 eliminates circuitry exposure to
harsh elements, dust and over-heating that can curtail the lifetime of shop floor computing
equipment.
Vibration-Immune Data. Using solid-state memory, the 9600 is immune to the industrial
vibration and the everyday bumps that cause hard drive failure in desktop PCs or less rugged
shop floor workstations.

The Epic Data 9600 ships with the Microsoft
Windows XP Embedded operating system
for thick or thin client applications. The thin
client option supports applications where all
the data resides on the server database. The
thick client option supports applications with
local databases that required synchronization
and validation with the server database, a
service that can be provided by the data
collection management systems within Epic
Datas IntegraNet.

Flexible input and output

The Epic Data 9600 comes with built-in
memory and stereo speakers, and an
abundance of input/output possibilities.
Its built-in access card reader using your
choice of PROX, iClass or FIPS201 technologies
helps you manage employee access to
valuable and restricted data on the terminal.
Its internal expansion ports allow for additional
flash memory, and wireless networking or
