Use the information file (.

inf) for Windows XP/Vista/Windows7 or later

Philips monitors include the VESA DDC2B feature to support plug-and-play require
ments
for XP/Vista/Windows7.
You can install this information file (.inf) to activate the plug-and-play appli
cation
in order to select your Philips monitor from the Monitor dialog box in XP/Vista/
Windows7.
The installation procedure will depend on your operating system.
Here's how:
For Windows XP

Start Windows XP
Click the Start button; point to Settings and click on Control Panel.
Select and click on Printers and Other Hardware
Click on the Display icon.
Choose the Settings tab and then click the Advanced button.
Choose the Monitor tab

If the 'Properties' button is inactive, your monitor is properly configu

red. Please stop installation.
If the Properties button is active, click on the Properties button and p
roceed to step 7.

Click on Driver and Update Driver.

Choose the Install from a list or specific location [advanced] button

Click Next and then the Have Disk button

Choose the Don't Search. I will choose the driver to install button. Cli
ck on the Next button

Click the Have Disk button.

Click the Browse button and choose the drive in which you've placed the
disk. Example: F: (CD-ROM Drive).

Click the Open button.

Click the OK button and choose your monitor model. Click on the Next but
ton.
If the Has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility w
ith Windows XP message appears, click the Continue Anyway button.

Click on the Finish button and then the Close button

Click OK button twice to close the Display Properties dialog box.

For Windows Vista

Choose "Device Manager" and Click on "Update device drivers".
Select "Monitor" and then right click on "Generic PnP Monitor".
Click on "Update Driver Software".
Select "Browse my computer for driver software".
Click the "Browse" button and choose the drive in which you've placed th
Example:(CD-ROM Drive:\\Lcd\PC\drivers\).
Click the "Next" button.
