Creativity
Assembling partitions together is a decisive factor when it comes to assessing the final quality. For this reason,
the designers of ELLERS partitions have developed an innovative system that uses mechanized pressure when
assembling partitions. This system, subsidized by OSEO-Innovation, is applied to the entire ELLERS range
and ensures a fast and accurate fitting without equal.

The ELLERS range offers a large variety of

Acoustic insulation is a key criterion to consider
when selecting your partitions, even perhaps
more important than that of transparency.

In an ever changing world, office space must

The ELLERS range has been designed to be
removable and reusable according to company
office space developments.

The ELLERS range includes profiles which

enable jobs to be undertaken at height.
Modern architecture imposes rigidity,
height and modulation restrictions, each
of which the ELLERS range is able to fulfill.
All partition installation set-ups can
be undertaken.
Reinforced profiles guarantee absolute solidity

The ELLERS range also integrates constraints

Classical
range

Far from simply being trendy or fashionable, the classical

range represents the appropriate compromise between
technical performance, ease of installation and cost.
Essentially composed of covered panels attached
with aluminum cover-trims, this range can also
accommodate glazed elements ensuring maximum
light to penetrate.
The balance between glass, full panels and aluminum
framing helps to obtain the best overall value for money.

The foremost name in office partitions, the cover-trim

range meets the requirements of the most frequently
used partitioning product.
Traditional decorations such as mineral or glass wool for insulation
and covered plaster panels for fillings create a technical
combination largely tested with good value for money.
The foremost names in covered industrial plaster now
have more and more sophisticated ranges.
The use of these materials are no longer synonymous with
monotony and second rate design.

Breasted wall
From the example of full height partitions, breasted wall
partitions represent another aspect of traditional partitions.
With identical design, they however enable light to
penetrate between the partitioned spaces while reducing
glass surfaces (cost reduction).
Used while adjusting the height of the walls, these
partitions can be used as an off-beat means of decoration.

variations in terms of frames surrounding
the one key element: glass.
So as to meet cost, aesthetic or even acoustic insulation
requirements, the ELLERS range has been enriched with
a host of different profiles which help to meet any kind
of requests.
Connections with other ELLERS ranges are possible,
allowing you to create the boldest of combinations.

Simple glazing

The simple edge to edge glazing partition uses aluminum

profiles on the sides.
This has become a standard reference in the market
today due to architect demands; this range is ideal for
those looking for complete transparency without acoustic
performance constraints.

Possibility of using glass between 8 mm to 15 mm,

meeting applicable glass safety standards.

Milimetric adjustment of glass positions with the use

of wedges which enables a rapid and efficient

From the edge to edge partition simple glazing, this range

corrects the main defect that can be found in the first
product: a low acoustic value.
While maintaining its maximum transparent qualities,
this double glazing partition additionally has very high
acoustic qualities which help to facilitate its use in offices.

The recessed joint double glazing partition is the most

suitable so long as one has to associate acoustic
and light aluminum.

It allows glass to be fitted flush while ensuring the glass

does not move from its position.

Brushed stainless steel finishing labels help

to create regular intervals between glasses
and create a better finishing level of the unit.
Possibility of inserting blinds between glazing
thus giving volume to the partition and providing it
with dynamic qualities.

Labels can be replaced with accessories such

as shelf doors which provide shelves on
glazed partitions with neither glue nor drilling.

Recessed joint partitions

Recessed joint partitions help to hide the cover-trim,
consequently the eye focuses on the brushed stainless
steel label finishings.
Only the top and bottom portions (smooth) allow
the aluminum to appear.

Decoration panels
Fitted wooden panels provide partitions a high level
of aesthetics. Thanks to this technique, the aluminum
is practically invisible, in favour of wood which brings out
all the nobility of this material.
This finishing can be made on a surface or on both sides
using the same frame as in all the other ranges, thus bringing
all the necessary modular functions to the fittings.

Contrary to wooden decorated panels, edge to edge

clipped panels allow for smoothness on the top
and the base which shows that aluminum elements can
constitute a coherent element of design in office units.
They are in perfect line with the sobriety and minimalist
objective: absence of cover-trims and finishing labels.

Using stainless steel labels on a base of 3 for 2.50 m of height

gives a refined and linear appearance.

These labels can be replaced by other accessories

such as shelf doors. In this layout, the shelf installation
is performed immediately and provides value
to partition finishing (no drilling).

Thanks to a very high level of acoustic performance,

decoration panels perfectly suit to management
offices or meeting rooms.

Very often considered as a standard product, doors help
to increase the level of the desired finishing.
Many of the ranges on offer are suitable for the classical,

custom-made products.
The performance of door frames as well as
the mechanical parts both determine the quality
of doors and also the level of finishing of the unit.
All mechanical systems installed by the ELLERS team
were tested over approximately 60.000 opening/closing
cycles.
An adjustable patented system helps to ensure
the complete closing of the doors which is a proof
of quality.

The full height wooden door constitutes

an office design element.

Manufactured in our workshops, aluminum door frames are

custom-made according to the dimension you require.
Aluminum door frames offer the advantage of using aluminum
profiles with the same colour as partitions and door frames.

At a slightly higher cost, they help to avoid

the production of a transom and provide
a sensation of volume to rooms.

Manufactured with top quality glass, they provide perfect
harmony with partitions and an impression of linearity.

Considered as traditional, the transom helps to integrate

Clarit doors meet the highest requirements in terms

of transparency, with however slightly reduced
acoustic qualities.

Available in glazed, wooden or aluminum versions,
sliding doors are sometimes used to separate
two working spaces while providing a dynamic side
to the opening/closing aspect.

Finishing band for recessed

joint partitions
When the standard flat cover-trim is replaced by a recessed
cover-trim, it is possible to add a finishing touch to the unit
thanks to a band which can be supplied in any desired colours.
This accessory is frequently used in the case of balustrades and
requires screwing cover-trim joints and easily hides the screw.

Acoustic technical plinth

with low and high current
Technical plinths are essentially decorative plastic plinths, which
help to reduce the aesthetic beauty of offices. In other cases,
these plinths are integrated in partitions but they reduce
the acoustic qualities of the whole unit.
The ELLERS team has designed a double housing technical
plinth which enables electric conductivity of 220 v, as well as
Internet and telephone connections. The center of this plinth is
made of a high performance acoustic insulation, guaranteeing
the non-transmission of sounds from one room to the other.
Totally integrated in the partition framework, these plinths can
also be used vertically or horizontally.

Shelf support
It is possible to install a shelf by using a bracket system
integrated into the frame. The two installed angle brackets
help to support a loaded shelf, as the weight is thus supported
by the frame of the partition.
These angle brackets are fitted without boring and can easily
be removed or moved.

Picture hooks
On the high wall rails, we can see a hook which enables
pictures to be hung easily.
These hooks can be fixed or removed by the user, moved at will
and used for pictures or any other uses (coat hangers, etc.).
This accessory can additionally be installed on decoration
panels (Elegant range).
In all instances, no drilling or screws are required.

custom-made solutions if necessary.

Our products are subject to strict production monitoring within

a production factory of 6000 m2. Our company is committed in a
responsible manner regarding its production team: it has notably
reached an agreement with Carsat*, a joiners ergonomic workshop
in order to facilitate maintenance procedures and protect workers
from wood dust.

Research and Development:

Our Research and Development service regularly develops new products,
systematically tested then validated by official organisms (Carsat*,
CSTB**).
Our R & D department favours a continuous evolution of our ranges.
It listens to the market, responds to new environmental standards and
even anticipates them.

The environment
ELLERS is committed
Aluminum is a recyclable product. Designers
of the ELLERS range have optimized
the recyclability of profiles all along the
production chain.
Overall environmental impact also concerns
material transportation. Logistics networks
have thus been adapted in order to reduce
energy balance and their consequences to
the barest minimum.

Recycling

Logistics

Aluminum has an excellent level of recyclability thanks to

a re-melting process. The process is ecological because it
avoids the electrolysis process which is very polluting.
Compared to extraction from the bauxite mineral, recycling
requires 95 % less energy and a ton of recycled aluminum
helps to save four tons of bauxite.

Aluminum spinners of the ELLERS range were given to extruders located in the Euro
zone and mainly in Portugal and Switzerland. These choices meet quality requirements
but also aims at reducing transportation when supplying the main stocks of Lyon.

Some characteristics of aluminum:

Aluminum is continuously recyclable.
Close to 35 % of the world aluminum demand is satisfied
by recycled aluminum from second fusion.
The production of aluminum from the second fusion requires
only 5% of the electricity needed for the first fusion.
The aluminum industry has reduced the intensity of its
emissions of GES by more than 50% since 1990.

The Lyon-based factory has installed an aluminum chipping recovery system when
cutting profiles before sending them to the construction site.
During the supply of uncut bars, the factory departure supply procedure is favoured
thereby reducing transport to the barest minimum.
Supplying in 6m, 3m or custom-made bars is also possible. It avoids unnecessary
transportation and excessive use of tools during refurbishment of office work.

Referenced extruders integrate a re-melting aluminum chain that helps to optimize

waste on site.

This index is not often used because it is considered as irrelevant. C and Ctr indexes were implemented when the new European norm was created. This measure is expressed with DB and
rates the ability to soundproof a product or a material. The higher RW is., the more insulating the material is. We make a difference between white noise (road traffic, trains) rated with Ctr
and pink noise (conversation, music, TV) rated with C.
**Ra= Rw+C
DB, which used to be Rrose (dB(A)), is the new European standard to rate acoustic insulation.
