Dear Maritime Stakeholder:

At this time, there are about 40 protestors in the Port's maritime area (seaport), outside the Oakland
International Container Terminal (Berths 55-59) - OICT, related to the on-going Gaza-Israel
conflict. Law enforcement is present and terminal gates have been clear all evening for
ingress/egress. Despite the tremendous effort by our law enforcement partners, however, operations
at OICT were not able to proceed this evening due to insufficient labor reporting for duty. All other
terminals are operating normally.

In light of these conditions, Port staff anticipates there may be delays at OICT tomorrow morning. We
will keep you updated if circumstances change significantly. We anticipate our next update by
8:00AM tomorrow morning.

Please be advised of the following update regarding the situation at the Port of Oakland. A
spontaneous demonstration of approximately 150-200 individuals occurred which resulted
in labor shifts not reporting to the SSA Terminal to discharge cargo from the Zim Lines
vessel. This situation remains fluid and we are anticipating that there may be an
additionalcall from the organizers of today's and Saturday's events to have people assemble
in the seaport tomorrow (Monday) morning. We're continuing to monitor such broadcasts
and are working with law enforcement to secure the terminal gates and labor entrances as
needed to ensure the flow of commerce.

report to work at this terminal. All other marine terminals are operating

normally. Port staff is monitoring the situation closely and will send updates as

completely open for employee entrance through both the morning and evening shifts, and
we greatly appreciate the professionalefforts of our partners at the Oakland Police
Department, theAlameda County Sheriff's Office, and the California Highway Patrol fortheir
outstandingconduct during today's limiteddemonstrations.

Good morning,

The Oakland Police Department responded to a few dozen protestors this morning in the
seaport area. Three arrests were made of individuals who were blocking the labor
entrances. A few members of the ILWU union are refusing to enter the terminal due to a
perceived health and safety issue because of the presence of law enforcement safeguarding
the terminals. Only a few protestors remain.

Unfortunately, the labor order to work the ZIM vessel was not filled by ILWU this morning.
The ZIM vessel will remain alongside the berth until the terminal operator determines if
labor can be ordered and filled for this evening.

We will continue to monitor social media platforms to see if there are additional calls for
protests such as we saw last night.

Good evening,

I apologize for the lack of formal updates today, there have been many moving parts that
are difficult to recount in total.
As you can see from the Maritime Division update below, all operations are currently normal
at the Port of Oakland.

At 3 pm today, the Zim Piraeus departed the Oakland International Container Terminal and
after a brief ocean-going voyage returned tothe PortsAmerica Outer Harbor
(PAOH)Terminal, where it is currently berthed and being worked by a full complement of
ILWU labor this evening. A group of approximately 50 individuals peacefully protested
during the initiationof the evening shift, but labor was able to enter the terminal without
incident. We greatly appreciate the assistance of local law enforcement, terminal
managementand ILWU labor who were allsuccessful in facilitating the continued flow of
international commerce for all customers at the Port of Oakland.

In the coming days and weeks, Port of Oakland management and our stakeholderswill
continue to seek out opportunities for additional dialogue on this issue. We absolutely
welcome any thoughts and input that you might have.

Dear Maritime Stakeholder:

All marine terminals have been open for business today.

At about 6:30pm this afternoon, protestors resumed demonstrating in the Port's

Maritime area (seaport) and are located near the Ports America Outer Harbor
Terminal (PAOH). This protest is related to the Gaza-Israel conflict in the Middle East
and the Zim Piraeus currentlyat PAOH.

Law enforcement is present and has beenkeeping access open to PAOH. Labor has
reported as scheduled with no negative impact. All terminals are operating
normally.Port staff is monitoring the situation closely and will provideupdates as
more information becomes available or the situation changes.
