B) Shipment Pricing and related extra charges
I have understood the rates for the mentioned products and I understand that the following additional charges may be applicable.
Dynamic Fuel Surcharge will be charged on all shipments based on US Gulf Coast Index. The details of which are available on www.dhl.co.in
Shipment is subject to be weighed upon arrival at DHL facility and the same will be considered for billing.
Shipment will be billed on actual or dimensional (Volumetric) weight length(cm) x height (cm) x width (cm) divided by 5000 whichever is higher.
Remote Area Service (RAS) surcharge of ` 950 or ` 19/Kg, whichever is higher will be charged for RAS locations the information for which is available with DHL Customer Service.
Non Standard Shipment Surcharge of Rs.1950 per shipment will be applicable for shipments with single piece weight greater than 70 kgs or single piece dimension greater than 120
cms or any single piece deemed non stackable.
Shippers' Interest Insurance (SII) if preferred / chosen will be billed under the regular Freight Invoices and an administrative fee of ` 500 will be applicable.
Address correction surcharge of Rs.780 will be applicable on shipments that are undeliverable in the first attempt due to incorrect / incomplete delivery address or consignee details.
C) Regulatory clearances and related extra charges
The following points about duties and the extra charges related to duties have been explained to me
Duties paid on my behalf will be as per DHLs duty policy mentioned below
o DHL will pay customs duty on behalf of consignee up to ` 50,000, collectible at the time of delivery.
o For an amount of customs duty between ` 50,001 to ` 150,000 DHL may require a duly authorized promise-to-pay letter from the customer prior to customs clearance, the
amount collectible at the time of delivery.
o For an amount of customs duty above ` 150,000 DHL may require advance payment prior to customs clearance.
Administration Fee of ` 1400 will be charged for Duties and Taxes Paid (DTP) shipments when they are billed & payable in India.
Handling Fee of ` 350 or 2.5% whichever is higher will be charged on duty, warehousing, octroi etc. totaling to all additional charges which are paid for by DHL on behalf of consignee.
Special Clearance Charges for Import Express shipments wherever applicable the details of which are available with DHLs Customer Service
Formal Clearance Charges of `950 for all Export shipments requiring formal customs clearance.
Formal Clearance Charges of `1500 for Import shipments requiring formal customs clearance.
DHL will only redirect the shipment to receivers import broker or other address upon a request in writing with authorized signature and stamp in case of a firm or company from the
customer.
Commercial Shipment paperwork checklist, detailing all the paperwork required for exporting commercial shipments has been explained and provided.
Same day clearance process for outbound commercial shipments has been explained.
Storage fee of ` 500 or ` 4.45 per kg per day will be charged for shipments being stored at our facilities. The storage service will be free for up to 3 days at our bond facility and 7 days at
our collection and delivery centers.
Service of transferring a shipment to a city within India, different from that mentioned in the original delivery address will be chargeable at the rate of ` 750 or ` 45 per kg whichever
is higher.
I realize that the list of charges mentioned above (section B and C) is not exhaustive and other charges may be applicable which will be informed to me as and when they will be applicable.

E) Billing and Payment Terms
Further, I have been advised about the points mentioned below and I / We agree to the same.

If the outstanding remains unpaid after the credit period, DHL reserves the right to impose an interest of 18%, at its discretion.

Supporting documents are delivered along with the Import shipment and the same shall not be provided with the invoices.

Service Tax will be levied on all my shipments as applicable.

Payment will made by Cheques / Demand Draft / Electronic Funds Transfer only.

G) Declaration
n I/ We as a consignee of imported goods hereby authorize DHL Express and its group companies (along with their agents) to act as my/our agent to custom/octroi clear all my/our
shipments imported through DHL. I/We further authorize DHL to make declarations and file all kind of papers including but not limited to a Bill of Entry on my/our behalf based on
my/our declaration or based on the declaration of anyone else including the Consignor having an interest in the Shipment. I further indemnify DHL and its group companies from all
liabilities arising out of its conduct as your (our) agent.

I/We as a consignor of exported goods hereby authorize DHL Express and its group companies (along with their agents) to custom/octroi clear all my/our shipments exported through
DHL in all countries enroute including the destination country on my/our behalf and on behalf of my/our consignees. I further authorize DHL to make declarations and file all kind of
papers including but not limited to an Entry Outward or Entry Inward based on my/our declaration/papers which are prepared in consultation with my/our consignees. I/We along
with consignees further indemnify DHL and its group companies from all liabilities arising out of my/our/their conduct as my/our agent.

I/We affirm that this declaration given by me can be produced before any authority including Customs/Octroi and this declaration shall be binding on me at all times.

I hereby undertake that all the information given by me above and am signing this document as a token of my understanding and acceptance of all the terms and conditions
mentioned here as an authorized signatory of my company.

Invoicing and Due Date:


The shipper will be invoiced for shipment charges according to the Rate Schedule and Pricing Zones
attached with the Account Application Form. The Shipper will be invoiced on a weekly basis.
Invoices will be posted or hand delivered to the Shipper at the last address notified to DHL in writing,
and shall be deemed duly delivered two days after posting or hand delivery. The Shipper shall pay the
amount due, in accordance with the invoice within Seven (7) days from the date of invoice.
DHL reserves the right to amend any of the terms, at any time without prior notice to the shipper. If
invoices remain unpaid upon expiry of credit period, DHL reserves the right to suspend the account and
withdraw credit facilities, if any.
Import Express Services (IMP)
The use of the IMP or 96 account number (as defined in Network Services Standard as a network
program to facilitate sales of transportation services to receiver) constitutes the Shippers agreement
that payment shall be made relating thereto against delivery of shipment, unless separate credit period
(not exceeding 7 days) has been agreed by DHL with the IMP or 96 account holder. The Shipper shall
inform DHL promptly in writing of any change in its business or postal address. A working day is defined
as Monday to Friday only and excludes public holidays.
Customs duties:
The consignee shall pay all applicable duties and taxes as well as other charges relating to shipment
imported upon receiving shipment.
Local Taxes/Levies:
Rates unless otherwise specified do not include local taxes/VAT/duty at any of the countries of
origin/transit/destination. Service tax shall be charged at the prevailing rates as per law governing
service tax unless specific exemption is enjoyed by the shipper under the law. The shipper shall provide
the relevant documentation to the satisfaction of DHL for exemption from levy of service tax.
Invoice queries:
The Shipper has 30 days from the date of DHLs invoice to notify DHL in writing of any invoice
discrepancies. In the absence of such notification, the invoice shall be deemed correct and shall be
conclusive without further proof as against the Shipper.
Claims by/against DHL:
The Shipper shall at all times indemnify DHL from any loss, damage, and/or expense sustained or
incurred by it as a direct or indirect consequence of granting the Shipper a credit account.
Breach by Shipper:
DHL may commence legal action against the Shipper for any breach of any of the Terms and Conditions
of credit and / or Carriage. The Shipper shall be liable for any charges and fees related to such legal
action, including lawyers fees and legal costs on a full indemnity basis. The Shipper submits to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the Courts. No waiver of any breach of this contract or any terms hereof shall be
effective unless such waiver is in writing and signed by DHL. No waiver of any breach shall be deemed a
waiver of any other or subsequent breach. No claim by the Shipper against DHL may be set off against
liabilities incurred by the Shipper.

Account Validity:
If an application for a credit account is approved by DHL, it will be effective from the date of signing of
this Account Application Form, unless otherwise terminated by either the Shipper or by DHL in writing.
Termination by DHL:
DHL is entitled to reduce / terminate the credit facility at any time without giving notice or explanation to
the shipper.
Termination by Shipper:
The Shipper may terminate the credit account by giving DHL at least 30 days written notice.
Procedures after termination:
Upon termination of the credit account by either party, the Shipper shall pay DHL all outstanding
amounts within seven days from date of receipt of intimation of such termination. In respect of any
shipment collected after termination of the credit account, the Shipper shall pay in cash as per cash tariff.
Severability:
If any provision hereof is, or is proved to be, or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in
part, under any judgement or rule of law, such provision shall to that extent be deemed deleted and the
legality, validity and enforce ability of the remaining provisions shall not in anyway be affected thereby.
Documents required:
Application for Account Opening must be accompanied by Certificate of Registration and / or any other
documents required by DHL to facilitate decision on whether Credit could be granted unless DHL waives
this requirement.
Shipper trading volume:
Shipper must have minimum trading volume of ` 5,000 per month to continue having credit facility. If
they trade below ` 5,000 per month, DHL reserves the right to cancel their credit facility and account.
Variation:
DHL has the right to change any of these Terms and Conditions of Credit or rates offered. Any such
changes shall be made in writing and notified to the Shipper.
Prevailing law:
These Terms and Conditions of Credit shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Indian
law and courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
DHL do not supply copies of outbound airwaybills (AWB) with shipping invoices. Please ensure that you
retain the top Shipper copy of AWB for your reference when shipment collection is made by DHL
courier.
Effect of change in Constitution:
These Terms and Conditions of Credit shall not be affected by amalgamation, absorption or other change
in constitution or structure of either the Shipper or DHL. The Terms and Conditions of Credit and all other
subsequent amendments made to the Terms and Conditions of Credit shall remain in force until
terminated by either the Shipper or by DHL in writing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE (Terms and Conditions)


IMPORTANT NOTICE
When ordering DHL's services you, as Shipper, are agreeing, on your behalf and on behalf
of anyone else with an interest in the Shipment, that the Terms and Conditions shall apply from the time that DHL
accepts the Shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorised officer of DHL.
Shipment means all documents or parcels that travel under one waybill and which may be carried by any means
DHL chooses, including air, road or any other carrier. A waybill shall include any label produced by DHL
automated systems, waybill, or consignment note and shall incorporate these Terms and Conditions. Every
Shipment is transported on a limited liability basis as provided herein. If Shipper requires greater protection, then
insurance may be arranged at an additional cost. (Please see below for further information). DHL means any
member of the DHL Express Network.

Customs, Exports and Imports
DHL may perform any of the following activities on Shipper's behalf in order to provide its services to Shipper:
(1) complete any documents, amend product or service codes, and pay any duties or taxes required under
applicable laws and regulations, (2) act as Shipper's forwarding agent for customs and export control
purposes and as Receiver solely for the purpose of designating a customs broker to perform customs
clearance and entry and (3) redirect the Shipment to Receiver's import broker or other address upon request
by any person who DHL believes in its reasonable opinion to be authorised.

Unacceptable Shipments
Shipper agrees that its Shipment is acceptable for transportation and is deemed unacceptable if:n it is classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles by IATA
(International Air Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation), ADR
(European Road Transport Regulation on dangerous goods), any applicable government department or
other relevant organisation;
n no customs declaration is made when required by applicable customs regulations;
n it contains counterfeit goods, animals, bullion, currency, banderols/tax stickers, bearer form negotiable
instruments, precious metals and stones; real or imitation firearms, parts thereof, weapons, explosives
and ammunition; human remains, pornography or illegal narcotics/drugs),
n it contains any other item which DHL decides cannot be carried safely or legally, or
n its packaging is defective or inadequate.

Deliveries and Undeliverables
Shipments cannot be delivered to PO boxes or postal codes. Shipments are delivered to the Receiver's
address given by Shipper (which in the case of mail services shall be deemed to be the first receiving postal
service) but not necessarily to the named Receiver personally. Shipments to addresses with a central
receiving area will be delivered to that area. If the Shipment is deemed to be unacceptable, or it has been
undervalued for customs purposes, or Receiver cannot be reasonably identified or located, or Receiver
refuses delivery or to pay for delivery, DHL shall use reasonable efforts to return the Shipment to Shipper at
Shipper's cost, failing which the Shipment may be released, disposed of or sold by DHL without incurring any
liability whatsoever to Shipper or anyone else, with the proceeds applied against service charges and related
administrative costs and the balance of the proceeds of a sale to be returned to Shipper.

Inspection
DHL has the right to open and inspect a Shipment without notice.

Shipment Charges
DHL's Shipment charges are calculated according to the higher of actual or volumetric weight and any
Shipment may be re-weighed and re-measured by DHL to confirm this calculation. Shipper shall pay or
reimburse DHL for all Shipment charges, ancillary charges, duties and taxes owed for services provided by
DHL or incurred by DHL on Shipper's or Receiver's or any third party's behalf and all claims, damages, fines
and expenses incurred if the Shipment is deemed unacceptable for transport as described in Section 2.

DHL's Liability
DHL's liability is strictly limited to direct loss and damage only and to the per kilo/Ib limits in this Section 6. All
other types of loss or damage are excluded (including but not limited to lost profits, income, interest, future
business), whether such loss or damage is special or indirect, and even if the risk of such loss or damage was
brought to DHL's attention before or after acceptance of the Shipment. If a Shipment combines carriage by
air, road or other mode of transport, it shall be deemed to have been carried by air. DHL's liability in respect
of any one Shipment transported, without prejudice to Sections 7-11, is limited to its actual cash value and
shall not exceed:
n $US 25.00/kilogram or $US 11.34/lb for Shipments transported by air or other non-road mode of
transportation; or
n $US 12.00/kilogram or $US 5.44 /lb for Shipments transported by road.

Claims are limited to one claim per Shipment settlement of which will be full and final settlement for all loss or
damage in connection therewith. If Shipper regards these limits as insufficient it must make a special declaration of
value and request insurance as described in Section 8 (Shipment Insurance) or make its own insurance
arrangements, failing which Shipper assumes all risks of loss or damage.

Time Limits for Claims
All claims must be submitted in writing to DHL within thirty (30) days from the date that DHL accepted the
Shipment, failing which DHL shall have no liability whatsoever.

Shipment Insurance
DHL can arrange insurance for Shipper covering the actual cash value in respect of loss of or physical damage
to the Shipment, provided the Shipper completes the insurance section on the front of the waybill or requests
it via DHL's automated systems and pays the applicable premium. Shipment insurance does not cover indirect
loss or damage, or loss or damage caused by delays.

Delayed Shipments and Money-Back Guarantee
DHL will make every reasonable effort to deliver the Shipment according to DHL's regular delivery schedules,
but these schedules are not binding and do not form part of the contract. DHL is not liable for any damages or
loss caused by delays.
Certain services have a money-back guarantee which provides for a credit or refund for delay of all or part of
the Shipment's transport charges in some cases. The Money-Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions are
available on the DHL website (www.dhl.com) or from DHL Customer Service.
10 Circumstances Beyond DHL's Control
DHL is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of circumstances beyond DHL's control. These include but
are not limited to:- electrical or magnetic damage to, or erasure of, electronic or photographic images, data or
recordings; any defect or characteristic related to the nature of the Shipment, even if known to DHL; any act
or omission by a person not employed or contracted by DHL - e.g. Shipper, Receiver, third party, customs or
other government official; Force Majeure - e.g. earthquake, cyclone, storm, flood, fog, war, plane crash or
embargo, riot or civil commotion, industrial action.
11 International Conventions
If the Shipment is transported by air and involves an ultimate destination or stop in a country other than the
country of departure, the Montreal Convention, or the Warsaw Convention as applicable, governs. For
international road transportation, the Convention for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR)
may apply. These conventions limit DHL's liability for loss or damage.
12 Shipper's Warranties and Indemnity
Shipper shall indemnify and hold DHL harmless for any loss or damage arising out of Shipper's failure to
comply with any applicable laws or regulations and for Shipper's breach of the following warranties and
representations:n all information provided by Shipper or its representatives is complete and accurate;
n the Shipment was prepared in secure premises by Shipper's employees;
n Shipper employed reliable staff to prepare the Shipment;
n Shipper protected the Shipment against unauthorised interference during preparation, storage and
transportation to DHL;
n the Shipment is properly marked and addressed and packed to ensure safe transportation with ordinary
care in handling;
n all applicable customs, import, export and other laws and regulations have been complied with; and
n the waybill has been signed by Shipper's authorised representative and the Terms and Conditions
constitute binding and enforceable obligations of Shipper.
13 Routing
Shipper agrees to all routing and diversion, including the possibility that the Shipment may be carried via
intermediate stopping places.
14 Governing Law
Any dispute arising under or in any way connected with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject, for the
benefit of DHL, to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of, and governed by the law of, the country of
origin of the Shipment and Shipper irrevocably submits to such jurisdiction, unless contrary to applicable law.
15 Severability
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect any other part of these Terms and
Conditions.

If you decide that you no longer want to purchase GOGREEN Carbon Neutral for any account number and/or for any DHL
service, you will inform your usual DHL contact person with two weeks notice and DHL will subsequently stop invoicing you
for the service.
You agree that DHL will add a separate amount to the relevant invoice for each GOGREEN Carbon Neutral shipment. It will
be 0.1 Euro per kilogram of billable weight for international shipments, but shall not be lower than the minimum charge of
0.1 Euro per shipment.
Any other terms of business between our two companies are unaffected by this document. Shipments sent as GOGREEN
Carbon Neutral will continue to be covered by the terms of existing agreements between our companies. DHLs General
Terms and Conditions of Carriage will continue to apply.
We will treat this as authority to start providing the GOGREEN Carbon Neutral service and invoicing you for it.
