RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF IMELDA THROUGH

PUNONG BARANGAY HON. FETELUZEL C. MANZANO IN THE UTILIZATION OF THE 5%
CALAMITY FUND OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET FY 2011 FOR UNDERTAKING
INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING THE CONSTRUCTION AND
REHABILITATION OF DRAINAGE CANALS, DISASTER PREPAREDNESS ACTIVITIES AND
OTHER MITIGATING MEASURES TO PROTECT THE BARANGAY AND ITS CONSTITUENCY
FROM EMINENT DANGER OF CALAMITIES AND OTHER DISASTER OCCURRENCES.

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10121 or The Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Act of 2010"
mandates the creation of Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Committee (BDRRMC) under the office of the Punong Barangay;
WHEREAS, One of the functions of BDRRMC is to Prepare and submit to the local sanggunian
through the LDRRMC and the LDC the annual LDRRMO Plan and budget, the proposed
programming of the LDRRMF, other dedicated disaster risk reduction and management
resources, and other regular funding source/s and budgetary support of the
LDRRMO/BDRRMC;
WHEREAS, The BDRRMC has been organized and has submitted to this Council the Barangay
Contingency Plan and the BDRRM Financial Plan and Budget for adoption and authorization;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Henry Eslabon
Martin Denopol, it was;

properly seconded by Kagawad

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to adopt the Barangay Contingency Plan and the BDRRM
Financial Budget and authorized the Punong Barangay Hon. Feteluzel C. Manzano in the
utilization of the 5% Calamity Fund FY 2011 for undertaking the infrastructure support activities
and other measures contained in the said Plan.
