Growth Advisor (Ref: GA3529)


Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 per annum
Fixed Term until 30th September 2015
Location: Remote Working

Business Growth Hub is recruiting a Growth Advisor to deliver high quality business assistance to a portfolio of ambitious
business owners and senior managers of companies looking to achieve growth.

The duties of the job include:

Handling client enquiries via, phone and email, initially assessing the growth potential and business needs using
appropriate tools, processes and systems where required
Ensuring that potential Business Growth Hub programme comply with the project eligibility criteria by ensuring that
initial eligibility checks, prior to formal assessment and action planning are carried out.
Ensuring that in depth business growth assessments are carried out using various diagnostic tools and methods to
capture baseline data from SMEs and as identify needs, which should be addressed by developing growth action plans
Making sure Growth SMEs are personally introduced to those services identified as appropriate (internal and external)
and to monitor the delivery of these services is to support the clients strategy and/or objectives and address those
barriers to growth identified
Working in conjunction with other delivery teams to ensure that other expertise are brought in to assist eligible
companies to develop as necessary
Ensuring that the monitoring and collection of output and impacts data is undertaken throughout the project and at
the conclusion of each individual project in line with ERDF requirements
Ensuring client enquiries and partner referrals are correctly recorded on Captavia and associated data capturing
systems, updating progress against agreed actions as plans progress and ensuring all administration is completed in a
timely manner against deadlines and checked for accuracy
Work with the relevant businesses closely to monitor any new jobs created/safeguarded and any GVA increase as a
result of activities undertaken

Sales and Account management skills
Project Management skills
Excellent presentation skills - both written and oral
Excellent communication and networking skills
Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills
Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets,
diary management, and e-mail.
A team player, but also a self -starter
Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
developed up-to-date Sector and market knowledge
The ability to identify opportunities and to be innovative.
