1. This assignment contains FOUR (4) activities that is set in both Malay and English. / Tugasan
ini mengandungi EMPAT (4) aktiviti sahaja yang disediakan dalam bahasa Melayu dan bahasa
Inggeris.
2. Answer in Malay or English. / Jawab dalam bahasa Melayu atau bahasa Inggeris.
3. Download the language version of the assignment template concerned from the MyVLE for
preparation and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12 point
Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing. / Muat turunkan templat tugasan versi bahasa
yang berkenaan daripada MyVLE untuk penyediaan dan penyerahan tugasan anda. Tugasan
anda hendaklah ditaip dengan menggunakan saiz fon 12 Times New Roman dan langkau baris

4. Your assignment should be between 2500 to 3000 words excluding references. Do not copy the
assignment question and instructions to your answer. Only assignment answer developed within
the approximate word limit will be assessed. The number of words should be shown at the end of
your assignment. / Tugasan anda hendaklah mengandungi 2500 hingga 3000 patah perkataan
tidak termasuk rujukan. Bilangan perkataan hendaklah ditunjukkan di hujung tugasan anda.

EVALUATION
This assignment accounts for 100% of the total marks for the course and shall be assessed
based on the Rubrics or Answer Scheme attached.
You would be given feedback on the assignment before the Final Semester Examination
commences.
PLAGIARISM: MARKS DEDUCTION
Warning: The submitted assignment will automatically undergo a similarity check. If
plagiarism is detected, marks would be deducted as follows:

Assignments with 10 - 30% overlap with others: 20% deduction from the total marks
scored.
Assignments with 31 - 50% overlap with others: 40% deduction from the total marks
scored.
Assignments with more than 50% overlap with others: Zero mark would be given.

Tugasan ini menyumbang sehingga 100% daripada jumlah markah kursus berkenaan dan
akan dinilai berdasarkan kepada Rubrik atau Skema Jawapan yang dilampirkan.
Anda akan diberikan maklum balas tentang tugasan ini sebelum Peperiksaan Akhir Semester

PLAGIARISME: POTONGAN MARKAH
Amaran: Tugasan yang diserahkan, secara automatik, akan disemak untuk menentukan
kadar pertindihan. Jika plagiarisme dikesan, markah akan dipotong seperti berikut:

Tugasan dengan pertindihan kandungan antara 10 - 30%: potongan 20% daripada


jumlah markah yang diperoleh.

jumlah markah yang diperoleh.

ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
PURPOSE
The purpose of this task is to assess your ability to:

search for information;

make notes from the reading material;

acknowledge other authors work, and

demonstrate logical arguments/discussions with supporting facts and evidences.

ACTIVITY 1 (30%)
Successfully completing a university degree does not happen by accident. You will need to
plan carefully to ensure that you submit all of your assignments on time and attend all
lectures and tutorials whether on campus or online. In addition, you need to balance
university commitments with family and work commitments.
Write down your academic goals for your short-term and long-term plans at OUM. Identify
the obstacles and challenges you encountered and how you can use the resources available to
overcome obstacles and challenges.
Note: Write a 1500 word essay for the above activity.
ACTIVITY 2 (20%)
After you have successfully accessed myVLE, share your experiences and describe how
myVLE can enhanced your learning?
Note: Write a 1000 word essay for the above activity.

ACTIVITY 3 (30%)
Find the following in any academic discipline of your choice in the TSDAS Digital Library:
a) An academic article in the peer reviewed journal;
b) A published conference paper; and
c) An article in the book in the discipline which was published between 2005 and 2007.
Write a 500 word brief summary for each article.

ACTIVITY 4 (20%)
For this activity, write a reflective journal between 3- 5 pages about what you have learned
and how you have learned it throughout your activities (activity 1 3) and your study in this
semester.

TUJUAN
Tujuan tugasan ini adalah untuk menilai keupayaan anda dalam :

mendapatkan maklumat;

membuat nota dari bahan bacaan;

mengiktiraf kerja penulis lain, dan

mengemukakan hujah-hujah logikal/ perbincangan dengan sokongan fakta dan


bukti.

AKTIVITI 1 (30%)
Kejayaan dalam menamatkan pengajian tidak mungkin berlaku secara tidak sengaja. Kita
perlu merancang dengan teliti untuk memastikan bahawa kita dapat melakukan semua
tugasan dan menghantarnya seperti tarikh yang telah ditetapkan. Pada masa yang sama juga,
kita mempunyai tanggungjawab menghadiri tutorial sama ada di pusat pembelajaran atau
belajar diatas talian. Selain itu, kita juga perlu bijak untuk mengimbangi komitmen universiti
dengan komitmen keluarga dan komitmen kerja.

Anda dikehendaki mencari dan memilih artikel/jurnal dari mana-mana disiplin akademik di
Perpustakaan Digital TSDAS:
a) Sebuah artikel / jurnal yang diwasitkan oleh pakar;
b) Kertas kerja seminar yang diterbitkan di persidangan; dan
c) Sebuah artikel dari buku (akademik) dalam mana-mana bidang yang telah diterbitkan
antara tahun 2005 dan 2007.
Buat ringkasan (500 p/perkataan) bagi setiap artikel yang di pilih.

Bagi aktiviti terakhir, anda dikehendaki menyediakan penulisan jurnal reflektif sekurangkurangnya 3 -5 muka surat berkaitan dengan Aktiviti 1 3 dan mengenai pembelajaran anda
