ACS is a largest Business Process Outsourcing company which provides Health and Welfare Services to number of
US clients. In the current project we handle the data of employees for around 40 US clients and provide support in HW,
DC, and DB domain.
ACS provides the software support to the Clients to know the status of the employees Insurance policies and also help
them in deducting amount in their payrolls or pensions according to their benefits.
ACS has its own system where it has three disciplines HR, Health and welfare (H&W) and defined benefits (DB).In
defined benefits it deals with the pension payroll of the participants. A participant is an employee of the client.ACS has
GSS and the state street system which are nothing but the payers (Banks).
In Defined benefits it has two processes lump sum and the Anniuty.Informatica jobs are different for both the
processes. All the business rules are there in the Business requirement Documents and it is provided by the Business
analyst team.
Once we get the BRD (Business Requirement Document) or TSR (Technical Specification Requirement). We
completely go through the requirements of DB Module and analyze.. After analyzing the requirement we develop

mappings with most suitable transformations and also develop Workflows, Unix Templates, Unix Wrappers and Unix
Parameter Files. The generated output files (Fixed width) is sent to business for the review and once they are fine with
the files then doing code migration to UAT and once UAT and development version files match. We will move the code
to production, once the code is moved to production, make the process as automated depending upon the schedule
which the business needs.

bank, it is critical to merge thse entities.The overall strategy of this effort was to breakup the technical and
business effort into phases that could each provide some benefit, yet reduce the risk of the full integration of
portals and their underlying applications.
There are 7 applications for which migration has to happen :
o Basic Banking Data Migration : Balance & Transaction history reports for treasury accounts and to
transfer funds among enrolled accounts.
o Internet Automated Clearing House (IACH) : Migrating Wachovia ACH SIP & ACH management data to
the S1 loader in the form of flat files for a subsquent load of this ACH payment and entitlements data to
the well Fargo ACH payment system.
o CEO Wires Data Migration : Data Migration project is to make all Wachovia and Wells Fargo wholesale
applications available via single go forward portal.
o Sweep Statements and Confirmation : Provides entitlements for Migrating WC customers for sweeps
Statements and Notifications.
o Desktop Deposit : Integrate the legacy Wachovia RDC (Remote Deposite Capture) online service into
Wells Fargo DTD (Desktop Deposite) service.
o Treasury information Reporting (TIR) : Enables a seamless transition for wholesale customers from
Wachovia to Wells Fargo.Migrates company, user and accounts level entitlements.Provides entitlements
for migrating Wachovia customers for TIR Product and Services.
o Statements and notices Enrollment Migration : Migrating legacy Wells East Wachovia Connections
Information Reporting users who access their online DDA, Sweep and AA Statements to the Wells west
CEO S&N solution.Companies and Users will be mapped from the Statements to accounts to which they
are entitled in the East, to the corrosponding Statements and accounts in the West.

The Project AMEX (Cash Management Execution) deals with the business of traveller cheques. It is basically a
data migration project where the TC data feeds comes from the various sources like mainframe,Excel to the
oracle database.

Power exchange tool is used to extract data from the mainframe using the data maps which basically converts
the files to the CSV files after which it is processed by the informatica tool as a data source and transform
them into the desirable format before loading into the target tables.

Nature of the Mappings are complex because of implementation of the delete in many tables and to maintain
the referntial integrity.
