China Natural Gas Map Project Directories 2013

China Natural Gas Map's associated project directories provide readers a fundamental analysis tool to make their
decisions. With a completed idea about venders, buyers and competitive projects, analyst would be able to shape a
better market model when planning a new investment or marketing program.
This Microsoft Access edition directory is designed to present, in one interface, the basic information of each
recorded project which includes project name, status quo, location, investor, frontline operator company, general
manager in charge, company contact number and address.
Since 2013, the editorial committee of China Oil and Natural Gas Maps adds additional project notes into each type
of the project directories. These notes enable readers to further filter their interested projects by individual demands.
For example, is an upstream gas output by oilfield dissolved gas or by gasfield? Is a CBM production zone operated
by onland drilling or by underground recovery? Does a LNG peakshaver also has gas liquefaction unit/function?
Which provinces and cities are located alongside a long-distance pipeline? What's main and backup gas supply
sources (PNG, LNG or CNG) for a franchised city or industry park?
The instruction here introduces definition and function of this directory:

1 Basic Information
Project Location:
The Project Location Panel shows and gives a brief introduction about the selected projects
basic location (provinces or basins).

Directory Button:
Click the Directory Buttons will open the interfaces of different directories you purchased. If
you clicked the button of a directory that you haven't purchased, a pop-up message window
will inform you of this and reguide you back to the main interface.

Project Type Icon:

The icons show the type of currently presented project in this directory.

Location and Project Selection Menu:

When a directory is selected, readers can further select to show one specific projects
information by Select Project Location menu and Select & View a Project menu.

Project Name:
The selected projects name will appear on the first line of Project Contacts Panel.

Project Status:
The selected projects status quo include in operation, planning or under construction. For
the 2013 series project directories, the status definition date is June, 2013.

Project Investor:
This sector introduces the contact information of the parent company of front-line project
operator or project owner by recording the investor who holds the largest share of the
selected project. For some undeveloped upstream oil and gas resources, the owner by default
is the local licensing authorities, who are mainly the provincial subsidiaries of Chinas Ministry
of Land and Resources.

Project Operator:
The operators contact information will appear in this directory interface if a project has an
operator to run its daily business. Long-distance pipelines may have more than one operators
and the first section operator will be recorded in the directory by default. Planning projects do
not have operators.

Print Project List:

The button enables readers to have print-friendly version of the whole selected project
directory.

2 Project Notes (Available in 2013 Series Directories and Beyond

Main Gas Supply Sources:
"Main Gas Supply Sources" is the unique project note added for City Gas Franchisers
Directory. There are all three types of gas supply sources, the pipeline transported natural gas
(PNG), LNG and CNG. A city might have more than one gas supply sources.

Segment Gas Source (Upstream):

"Segment Gas Source" is the unique project note added for conventional gasfields directory.
Two types of segment gas sources are recorded in the directory: the oilfield dissolved gas and
the gasfield output gas.

The City:
"The City" is the project note for a couple of directories including LNG, CNG, gas power,
natural gas chemical, SNG, UCG and city gas franchisers. It helps readers to filter their
preferred projects by further detailed regions.

Segment Market:
"Segment Market" is the project note for a couple of directories including CBM, LNG, natural
gas chemical and gas power plants. For CBM directory, this note is to introduce a CBM field's
operation mode (onland drilling or underground recovery); for LNG directory, this note is to
introduce the main units/functions for a LNG facility (LNG receiving, natural gas liquefaction or
LNG regasification); for chemical directory, this note is to introduce a production mode coal-togas project (SNG or UCG); for gas power plant directory, this note is to introduce type of the
fuel for each plant (conventional natural gas or CBM).

Project Size:
"Project Size" is the unique project note added for natural gas pipeline directory. It is for
readers to understand the size catalog of annual gas transport capacity for each recorded
pipeline. There are three types of project size for all the pipelines in the directory: the strategic
level (10 bcm and above per year), the backbone level (0.1 - 1 bcm per year) and the regional
level (below).

Main Location alongside the Pipeline (City):

"Main City alongside the Pipeline (City)" is the unique project note added for natural gas
pipeline directory. If a pipeline mainly locates in and supplies to one city, this note defines the
pipeline location with the name of the city; if a pipeline mainly locates alongside and supplies
to a couple of cities in one province, this note defines the pipeline location as "inter-city
pipeline"; if a pipeline locates alongside and supplies to a couple of provinces, this note
defines the pipeline location as "inter-provincial pipeline".
