ABSTRACT
This study aims to know the effects of teenage pregnancy on the health of the teen mothers and their child. Specifically, the
respondents of this study were composed of 30 random teens ages 15-19 that experienced pregnancy. Random sampling was used to
identify the respondents. It is a sampling method in which units are selected based on easy access or availability. This was because of
the convenience and availability of the respondents, due to the fact that they have different schedules and locations. The researchers
aim to know how the students perceive themselves in terms of their academic performance, if they engage in school activities and
competitions, and the different ways that these students portray themselves. It is shown that the majority perceive themselves as
consistent honor students. Additionally, 50% engage in academic competitions and extracurricular activities. Also, only 20% think
that they are a failure and the majority is satisfied with themselves.
