The Roman Catholic Church was introduced and brought in the Philippines by the Spaniards in the year

1521. The religion itself was whole-heartedly welcomed by the Filipinos, most especially our kababayans
from Cebu.
The Roman Catholic Church is one of the largest Christian churches with more than 1.2 billion member
worldwide. It is among the oldest religious institutions in the world and has played a prominent role in
the history of Western Civilization.
Catholics believe in one existing God. He serves as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one with
three personas. In the other way around, the economy needs a head that can act and serve the people
in the right and most just way. Relating it with our religion God serves as the head of the Church and the
priest as its visible head with one concrete goal, which is to spread the word of God.

The Roman Catholic Church as a religion needs to expand and enlighten the world with the word of God.
Infrastructures such as the church itself, mission houses and seminaries are built in order for the
disciples of God to have a safe haven. By doing so, the Roman Catholic family will be active and can be
together to celebrate and praise God which leads to increase in people that believes in Him.
