PHILOSOPHY

1. When many of the Filipinos going to foreign countries, the Philippines is


suffering from brain drain since
a. many of the best and highly skilled Filipinos leave the country and use their
expertise abroad;
b. the country becomes lacking of highly skilled workers to serve the people
since many of them are leaving the country;
c. many families will get temporarily separated because of the husband/wife
leaving for abroad;
d. workers who are left in the Philippines are less competent compared to those
who are leaving the country.
2. According to Manuel L. Quezon, there are two objectives of the Philippine
Education one of which is education for better citizenship. If this is so, an
educated Filipino will:
a. work abroad, use his expertise there and send money to help his family.
b. stay in the Philippines and be one with the others in suffering from poverty.
