A. Preparatory Activities
1. Drill
Present an action song about colors to the tune of Watermelon.
Red and Blue (2x)
Yellow (2x)
Green and Orange (2x)
Violet (2x)
2. Motivation
Show a picture of a bunch of flowers.
What do you see in the picture?
Do you like them? Why?

B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation
a. The teacher names the colors in the picture.
b. The teacher presents the word red, blue, and yellow.
c. Have the pupils pick one cutout and identify its color.
2. Fixing Skills/Practices
Present cutouts of objects without colors. Then have the pupil get
the corresponding colored cutouts to match with each object.

3. Generalization
The primary colors are red, blue, and yellow.

Have the children identify the color of things that the teacher will show.
