Minimum of 2 years of mechanical design experience within valve, piping or manuf

acturing environment
Experience with FEA and performing hand fluid calculations
Knowledge of ASME codes and regulations
Proficient in computer aided design and analysis (solid modeling with SolidWorks
or similar, calculations with MathCAD, Excel or similar)
Solid understanding of machine design (fits, tolerances, alignment, bearings, po
wer transmission and other machine components)
Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics, piping drawings, site elevation dra
wings, manufacturing prints, and drafting knowledge (ANSI Y14.5)
Understanding of Bill of Material structuring
Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Manufacturing practices and processes
Working knowledge of design of experiments, testing, data interpretation (e.g. v
ibration analysis), non-destructive testing, monitoring/failure analysis and equ
ipment failure history analysis
Perform stress, strain, and deflection analysis
Knowledge of engineering materials

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Master's preferred.
4+ years of experience in product development.
Project management experience preferred, PMP certification is a major plus.
Experience within a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, au
tomotive or other.
