Ferro Scrap Nigam Limited is a Mini Ratna-II Government of India Undertaking engaged
in rendering specialised services to the integrated Steel Plants in Scrap Recovery &
Processing. The Company is also exploring in diversifying areas like Mining operations &
processing of minerals, OTR manufacturing, Marketing, Wind Mill and Central
Workshop, Presently, the units of FSNL are situated at Rourkela, Burnpur, Bhilai,
Bokaro, Visakhapatnam, Durgapur, Dolvi near Mumbai & Duburi near Jajpur Road
(Orissa) with Regional Office at Bengaluru, Delhi & Kolkata and the Registered Office of
the company is situated at Bhilai. The Company is on the look out for experienced
candidates to meet the requirement of executives in the discipline of MAINTENANCE
(Mechanical & Electlrical), OPERATIONS, PROJECTS, R&D AND
CONSULTANCY, MATERIALS, FINANCE & ACCOUNTS, PERSONNEL &
ADMINISTRATION, MARKETING, MINES, SAP & COMPANY SECRETARY as
detailed below:
A) MAINTENANCE (MECH & ELECT)/ OPERATIONS/PROJECTS/R&D AND CONSULTANCY

.GENERAL
1. Besides Basic Pay & DA, the posts carry fringe benefits such as House Rent
Allowance, LTC/LLTC, Leave encashment, reimbursement of medical expenses
for self & family, Local Travelling Expenses, Canteen subsidy, Magazine
Allowance, Entertainment Allowance. P.F., Gratuity etc. as per Company’s rules.
2. Minimum qualification mark will be 60% in qualifying examinations.
3. All qualification should be from a recognized University/Institution. No
qualification, on the ground of its being equivalent to the one advertised, shall be
considered.
4. Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be as per the directives of
the Govt. and relaxation in age by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10
years for PH candidates will be given.
5. The candidates shall necessarily submit a copy of SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate, as
the case may be, from a competent authority.
6. All computations of experience/qualification shall be done w.r.t. the last date of
application as mentioned in the advertisement. The date of declaration of
result/issuance of mark-sheet shall be deemed to be the date of acquiring the
qualification.
7. Period of training, teaching and research will not be considered for the purpose of
reckoning of experience.
8. Company may at its discretion, revoke/relax the eligibility standard to restrict the
number of candidates or to make available sufficient number of candidates to be
called for interview, besides determining suitable grade and position, as may be
deemed fit.
9. Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to
cancel/restrict/curtail the recruitment process without any further notice and
without assigning any reason thereof.
10. Place of posting will be any of FSNL’s units/Regional Office/Projects.
11. Candidates presently working in Govt/Public Sector organisations should send

Certificate” at the time of interview.
12. To and fro AC II/III class single railway fare by shortest route will be paid to
outstation candidates called for interview, on submission of necessary proof.
