Getting Started
" Install EC Watermark

Click on the SETUP icon to start installation of EC Watermark. Follow the

instructions to complete the installation process.

" Starting and Running EC Watermark

Click on the EC Watermark shortcut icon to launch the program

Importing images for adding watermark

A) Select a folder in the folder list

B) Select images in the image list and click on Add button. Click on Add All button if
you want to add all images
Remark : To select multiple images. Press and hold the Ctrl or Shift key and select
images
C) Selected images are added into selected image list. If you want to remove any
image in the list, just select the image and click on Remove button. Click on Remove
All button if you want to remove all images in the selected image list

Applying watermark to images

" Introduction of watermark setting screen

Click on the Watermark Setting tab to go to the watermark setting screen

Watermark Setting Screen

A) Preview Options:

First Preview the first image

Previous Preview the previous image
Next Preview the next image
Last Preview the last image
Best Fit Show an entire image in the screen
Zoom In Zoom in an image
Zoom Out Zoom out an image
Actual Size Preview the image in its actual size
B) Text watermark setting

Text Click this checkbox for adding text watermark

Font Select the font, size, type of the text watermark
Fore Color The fore color of the text
Back Color The background color of the text
Opacity To change the opacity level of the text watermark
Textbox Enter the text of the watermark

C) Image watermark setting

Logo Click this checkbox for adding image watermark

Image Select an image to be watermark
Dimension The dimension of the image
Opacity Change the opacity level of the image watermark
Repeated The watermark is repeated and it will tiled over
Background the whole area of base image

D) Rotate Base Image

0, 90, 180, 270 Rotate the base image at the specific degree

E) Rotate Watermark

Text Rotate the text watermark

Image Rotate the image watermark

" Add Text Watermark to the image

1. Select the Text checkbox

2. Type the text in the textbox
3. Click on the Select Font button to change the font type
4. Click on the Fore Color box to change the fore color of the text watermark
5. Click on the Back Color box to change the background color of the text
watermark
6. Move the Opacity lever to change the opacity level of the watermark. Move
the lever to the left, the watermark will be more translucent; move it more to
the right, the watermark is getting more solid
" Add Image Watermark to the image

1. Select the Logo checkbox

2. Click on the Browse button to select an image to be a watermark
3. Move the Opacity lever to change the opacity level of the watermark. Move
the lever to the left, the watermark will be more translucent; move it more to
the right, the watermark is getting more solid
4. If you check the Repeated Background option, the watermark will be tiled
over the whole image

" Move the watermark over image

To move the watermark, use mouse to drag and drop the watermark to any position on
the base image

" Rotate the Base image

You can rotate different degree for base image

" Rotate the watermark image

You can rotate the watermark image.

1. Click on the Text button to rotate the text watermark

2. Click on the Image button to rotate the image watermark
3. Use mouse to rotate the watermark
4. Click to release the button to complete rotation

Saving the images

" Resizing the images
1. You can choose to resize images to a percentage of original images or a
specific width or height
2. Keep dimension aspect ratio lets the images be enlarged or reduced by a
aspect ratio
3. Restrict width : ignore height when resized
4. Restrict height : ignore width when resized
5. Allow image stretch : allow images to be enlarged
6. Resize quality : you can choose the resize quality between quality and speed
" Saving the images

1. Click Select Folder button to select a folder to save images

2. Click Use File Prefix checkbox to rename all the saved images with a specific
prefix
3. Select to save images in either JPEG ( recommended ) or BMP format
4. Click on the JPEG Quality button to select the JPEG compression quality
