MISSIONSl

FIRST MHCICAN FUIIT SUPPORTED MISSrONARIES SELSCTSDl

Fop a number of years the Northrup families have bean teaching that the
present Mexican mission churches must become missionary sending congrega-

jgri

tions to receive all of God*s blessings,

Ofcourse many excellent Mexican evangelists and missionaries have worked

in foreign fields and Mexico supported by American churches. Also indivldual Mexican congregations have partially supported missionaries working in

Oct! 21-23, 1983 the 2nd. Mexican FamlTlf Missionary Convention was hold
on Mountain View Ranch. Eighty six were registad from 7 Mexican states and Texas. Attendance
in the evening services ran about 200, Every invited speaker was present with powerful Holy

Sbirit filled messages. Things happened that far exceeded our wildest dieams. Pray ^th us

that the Lori will Increase our faith so that we can expect even greater things and dare to

step through the doors He is opening to the Mexican church.

DarlnH the special mens session of the convention the Holy %irit led the Mexican church
leaders to select two couples and a young man as missionary candidates of the Mexican Churches

aMe^'walter and Shrai Bolivar wore ready to begin a work in leon, Guanajuato, Mexico the

men on the spot pledged then nearly 15,000 pesos worth of support and to go home to their

respective congregations and raise another 15,000 so their monthly support will be 30,000 pesos.

In this crises time in Mexico that is $210 dollars per month.

Shrai is from one of the congregations in Zacatecas, Mexico while Walter Bolivar ie a native

of Columbia, South America and a graduate of Colegio Bibllco, Eagle Pass, Ibxas.
