Scenario:
ESOFT Metro Campus (PVT) LTD is one of the largest education providers in Sri Lanka, with
more than 40 branches and 20,000 student headcount at a given point. The company has
evolved from a small institute which offers diplomas to a private campus comprises of various
degree programs from streams like Management, Computing and engineering. The company is
presently at the verge of launching their new postgraduate degree programs.

1.1. What type of processes could possibly exists in an organization like Esoft which is
operating in the education industry. Evaluate the interrelationship between those different
processes and functions of the organization. (P1.1)
1.2. Explain the methodologies that you can use to map Processes of Vertusa with their
respective goals and objectives.(You can form related assumptions in creating objectives and

1.3. Evaluate the output of the process and the quality gateways for Esoft. (P1.3)

2.1 Assume you are the senior accountant of Esoft. Write a report to Finance Director
suggesting a plan which will promote goals and objectives for your own area of responsibility

2.2 Write objectives, which are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-based to
align people and other resources in an effective and efficient way for the finance Department
in Esoft. (P2.2)
2.3Business systems should achieve company goals in a, timely manner with aligning the
scope of the set budget and standards. Propose a system which will fulfill above mentioned
criterias.

member of quality circle how you could develop a proper quality system to control, comply

3.2 On your opinion what would be the ideal set of practices that would promote quality
culture which will result in continuous monitoring, evaluation and development of the
process practiced in the company helping Esoft to maintain ISO 9001-2008 standards.

giving emphasis to aligning the organizations objectives and goals to the same. (P3.3)

Unilever UK is one of the giants in the FMCG industry in United Kingdom. Use Unilever
UK as the base when answering following questions.
Prepare a 10 Minutes presentation covering the tasks 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4
4.1 Undertake an in detailed risk assessment covering the criterias of legal, regulation and
company requirements of quality, explaining how they have ensured appropriate actions are
taken.(P4.1)
4.2 What are the health and safety regulations and legislation applicable at an organization
such as Uniliver which is operating in FMCG industry and how they can be correctly and
effectively applied (P4.2)
4.3 Carry out a systematic review of Unilever UK health and safety policies and procedures
in order to ensure they are effective and compliant with current standards.(P4.3)
4.4 Show how practical application of health and safety policies and procedures has been
carried out in Unilever UK. (P4.4)
