Bone Firmware Update Guide

Preparing the Firmware

Visit h6p://www.hdx1080.com/download
Go to HDX Bone secDon.
Download according to the release dates, whichever is the latest.

Extract the downloaded le and copy to the updaDng source.

The HDX Bone is able to detect sources from the internal HDD or a thumb drive
connected via a USB mini-b to type A female connector, as shown below.

Ensure that your 2.5 HDD has already been forma6ed by mounDng it to your PC
via the supplied USB cable.
Mount the HDX Bone to your computer, it should appear as a drive which you can
access normally.
Copy the extracted rmware into the ROOT directory of your HDD.

Copy the extracted rmware into the ROOT directory of your thumb drive.
Connect the thumb drive to the mini-b to type A converter and hook it up to the
bone before plugging in the power cable.

How to upgrade your rmware

Turn on your HDX Bone, and navigate to SETUP page as shown below and select the
system icon.

Proceed to Update rmware, and press PLAY bu6on on your remote

How to upgrade your rmware

In approximately, 2mins the bone will reboot itself.

Go to SETUP again, and conrm whether your rmware has been updated to the
corresponding rmware version.

Please do not power-o the HDX Bone during the upgrading process, this may cost
your unit to be faulty.
