Last year from august until now (December 6) I

started going to the Gym for the first time in my
life. I am still fulfilling my objective of going 3
times a week for two hours, which has helped me
manage my time more efficiently in order to do
all the activities I want
C.I.S.V. is a organization created with the aim of
achieving peace and education people, 11 years
and older, about global issues and the significance
of acceptance. This year I participated in a 1
month long C.I.S.V. program and in trainings
every Saturday from January to April 2 hours
long. Through this trainings and the program I
assisted I learning about global issues and
managed to understand them in a greater depth.
Through my experience at the Novena
Christmas event, I learn to appreciate all the
benefits I have and be thankful about my
situation of living. Working three hours a day for
9 days with poor children and trying to make
their holidays be enjoyable, open my eyes towards
the harsh reality I dont usually experience.
I have learned a large variety of skills. Such as,
speaking Portuguese, leadership skills, comforting
and connecting with children, and also cooking
skills.
