The codes should be there. They are listed as "F" instead of "SC" and are listed in seperate boxes instead of
haveing the "-". But just incase I'll send the manual. Also here are teh solutions from the Konica TSB for your
code.
DESCRIPTION: Intermittent SC49-01. SOLUTION ID: 155460
SOLUTION: PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. The IP511 hard drive start up code is corrupt.
Ghost the hard drive with the available image at the FTP site. In most cases ghosting the IP511
hard drive will resolve the SC49-01 issue.
2. The IP511 hard drive has failed.
Replace the failed hard drive (p/n 13RP-9040).
3. Failed printer control board *ssembly.
Ensure that the system code on the IP511 is at minimum version 6.2.0. Remove the IP511 from
the main body and inspect the connection to the main body for any damage or pins out of place.
Reseat the IP511 onto the main body and verify operation. If the service code continues to occur,
replace the printer control board *ssembly (p/n 13RN-7320).
4. Failed IP511 memory module or Non-Konica Memory is installed.
To check the memory module, perform the following:
a. Power the printer OFF (using the main power switch located on the rear left side of the main body).
b. Remove any additional memory modules, which have been installed on the IP unit.
c. Power the copier ON. If, the IP boots up successfully one or more of the memory modules
has failed. Replace the memory modules [MU-404/64MB] (Item #950218) or [MU405/128MB] (Item
#950219) as necessary.
5. The main body Printer CB has failed.
Replace the failed main body PCB (p/n 56AA-9021).
6. The power being supplied to the printer suspect.
Install a power monitor to determine if the AC outlet is causing the problem.
DESCRIPTION: E49-01 at power up. SOLUTION ID: 121476
SOLUTION: CAUSE: If the main power switch of the 7165 main body is powered OFF/ON too soon, this may
cause the IP511 not to shut down properly or reboot; causing a communication error between the
main body and controller.
SOLUTION: After powering OFF the 7165 main power switch, wait for approximately 10 seconds
before switching it ON. This is described in the User's Manual.
DESCRIPTION: Intermittent SC49-01 and SC49-03. SOLUTION ID: 168582
SOLUTION: CAUSE: A failed printer control board in the main body.
SOLUTION: Replace the printer CB (p/n 56AA-9021).
Note: Normally these codes indicate failed memory installed in the IP511, a failed IP511 printer
board, or the IP511 startup code is below 6.2.0. Only replace the printer control board in the main
body as a last resort.

Can be something as simple as an incorrect driver set-up..Basically this is a printer lock-up code. Remember to
reboot the print controller you have to use the main power switch not the sub power switch..
