Accessing Web Utilities
Overview
Web Utilities allows the user to monitor and configure a Konica copier via the web. No
external application is required because the Web Utilities application is a standard feature
of the Konica copier.
To utilize Web Utilities, a user accesses the Internet then types in the IP address of the
copier. A System Administrator usually provides this address to the user. A user may
monitor one copier at a time. All that is required is one open Internet connection, or
window, per copier.
A General User will be able to access a copier via Web Utilities and monitor IP-Controller
and Engine status. The General User can utilize several other functions such as checking
basic settings (like printing and finishing options), detecting errors and locating a contact
person to whom they can report such conditions, and checking the maintenance schedule.
A System Administrator can customize a variety of configuration options, to guarantee that
the Konica device provides the most functionality for its intended audience.
