Grading:
The course will be graded on 3 examinations (worth 90% of your grade). The exams will be based on
class videos, reading assignments and class discussions. It is fully expected that students will attend
and participate in all lectures and discussions (attendance and class participation are worth 10% of
your grade). Students cannot miss more than 3 class periods in order to receive a passing grade.

A grade: 90-100
B grade: 80-90
C grade: 70-80
D grade: 60-70
F grade: less than 60

Policy on Scholastic Dishonesty: Students who violate university rules on scholastic dishonesty are
subject to disciplinary penalties including the possibility of failure in the course and/or dismissal from
the university. All episodes of suspected scholastic dishonesty will be reported according to

For all examinations in this course, leave all personal belongings at the front of the room (including
books, notes, cell phones and beverage containers). Remove all hat or caps. Student ID (comet card)
will be required. Be prepared to change seating and sign out when leaving the testing room. Students
are not allowed to leave the room during an examination.
