One Year Full-time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) 2014-2015
Congratulations! Further to your application and subsequent interview you had with us, you have been
provisionally selected for the one year full-time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) at
Chennai Campus, commencing by mid-April 2014. The exact date of commencement of the program will
be intimated to you in due course. This provisional letter of offer is subject to the following terms and
conditions.

a) Your acceptance through e-mail to join the program should reach us not later than 30 December
2013 followed by an acceptance letter along with an initial fee of Rs 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only)
by way of demand draft drawn on Great Lakes Institute of Management Admissions
Account payable at Chennai. This written confirmation with the demand draft and other annexures

mentioned should reach us before 2 January 2014. Please note that cheques will not be accepted.
b) This being a residential program, the total fee including boarding is as below:

c) Possession of laptop as per our specified configuration is compulsory. Please find the laptop
configuration attached as Annexure 1.
d) Students will be provided with single room accommodation. If due to unavoidable reasons, single
accommodation is not available, then students will be allotted twin sharing accommodation and a sum of
Rs. 30,000 will be refunded.
e) All certificates in original should be produced for verification and handed over at the time of
commencement of the program. Photocopies of all these certificates (as per Annexure 2) should be
sent along with the acceptance letter and demand draft for our records. Two passport size color
photographs taken not earlier than November 2013 should be furnished.

f) All candidates should produce the following documents with respect to the last employer at the time
of reporting to the college:

Letter of engagement (letter of offer)
ii)
Letter of sanction of sabbatical (where applicable)
iii)
Letter of resignati
resignation and relieving letter

Certificate of last salary drawn/last pay slip
g) In case of default to remit the fee on due dates proposed, the admission shall stand
cancelled. Refund policy is as per AICTE Norms.
h) Admission to the program iss subject to students undergoing medical test at a centre recommended
by the institute and being declared fit to pursue the program. Details of the medical centres where the
students would undergo medical test will be informed shortly.
i)
This letter is only in the manner of expression of intent of the institute to offer admission and does
not guarantee final admission. Final admission is complete on full payment or on execution of loan
sanction letter from a bank.

Laptop Requirements
Students who have enrolled in Great Lakes Institute of Management MBA Program are required to have a
laptop. If you already have a laptop and want to continue using it at Great Lakes, please be aware of our
minimum laptop requirements.

All critical Operating System patches (e.g. Windows Updates) must be applied and active on the laptop
Active, up-to-date Anti-Virus software must be running on the laptop.
An active personal firewall must be deployed on the Laptop to counter common attacks
