STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES (SPO):
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
(P): Demonstrate control when dribbling and passing the ball during the instant activity. (SHAPE
S1.H1.L1; MA CF 2.17)
(C): Explains what types of passes are best used during indoor soccer matches to maintain control of the
ball. (SHAPE S2.H1.L1; MA CF 2.26)
(A): Include classmates by passing the ball three times before going to the end zone. (SHAPE S4.H2.L1;
MA CF 2.26)
TEACHER PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES - During the lesson the teacher will:
1. Inform students about what is going to happen immediately and what is expected as soon as the activity
finishes to help save time.
2. Rotate throughout the classroom providing feedback to students who are on task, and giving their best
effort at improving their skills.
3. Extend to students who are ready to move further into game play, refine for students who need to
refocus their skills.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - What are the safety concerns? What is unique about the students
in this class?
1. Bleachers and volleyball net stands on either side of the gymnasium.
2. Basketball hoops which are up and the catwalk above the gymnasium (equipment getting stuck).
3. Special needs students need to be partnered with cooperating peers who will encourage their
development of skills.

Warm-up: AHS Specific


Ms. Moss will take attendance,
noting any students with excused or
unexcused absences, and anyone
unprepared for PE on their student
cards. Students will warm up with
AHS warm up routine jog (specific
time based on week of the year, add
10 seconds each week, this week is
3:20), ten 3-count jumping jacks, 10
push ups, 10 sit ups. These exercises
are led by student volunteers, if no
volunteer the group will continue to
run for :30 seconds until we have 12 volunteers.

Transition: Whistle blown to get ss


attention. Ss will huddle together
around Ms. Moss to get informed on
the days activities. When ss are
silent with their eyes on the teacher
she will continue. Ss will return to
their teams (Brazil Yellow,
Germany Red, Italy Blue, Green
Nigeria) from the day they got to
choose.

Ultimate Indoor Soccer
Ms. Moss will explain that today we
are going to start with a quick game
of ultimate indoor soccer.
Rules:
Teams will go up against each other
and send 2 people out on the field at
a time.
Ball will be rolled into the field.
Teams of 2 must work together to

Play
Ss will no play 4:00 games of
indoor soccer. Must have 3 passes
before a shot on goal.

the black line.
- Ball should stay low
- Goalie must throw/roll the
