After I was content and set on a design idea, I took the
project layout to Adobe InDesign. I used Multiple triangles to

Photoshop, and used a color scheme that went with the photo to create
an ad.
Date: October 19, 2014
Course/Instructor: Comm 130, Ben Pingel
Programs (Tools): Adobe Photoshop
Objectives:
Learn basic photography skills.
Choose a color scheme, take a photo to match those colors, then
incorporate the colors into the layout.
Use a digital camera to take a quality image, then download it.
Adjust image levels, saturation, color balance, sharpen tool on separate
layers for NDE (non-destructive editing.)
Size and crop the image, then place on an 8.511 page layout.

The program used for this project was Photoshop. I used lighting to
create a picture that was dramatic, and conveyed the message I
was trying to convey. Using Photoshop I blacked out the background,
changed the exposure and brightness, and ended up with the
perfect picture for my makeup course ad. I then used the big split
complementary color scheme.
