COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course the students will be able to understand many renowned
business model and
theories and also be able to learn the application of those in
making business decision. Students will be able to understand the strategy and structure
of international business with a thorough review of the economics and politics of
international trade and investment environment. Students will be able to write a project
using various economic theories & models and provide recommendation. Students will
be able to understand the functions and forms of global monetary system.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In the time of globalization, international business is no longer an option rather it is a
must for profitability and to sustain and survive in the long run. However, going
international is often difficult and complex decision for any company due to different
trading blocks and monetary system. This course will help us understand the curse and
blessing of globalization and how it works for any country.
Therefore, the main focus of the course is to cover the major issues of international
business and analysing it, understanding many important economic and business
theories, writing a project on doing international business.
TEACHING APPROACH:
Cases will be used for better understanding. Students will do a presentation on the
project work.
