    Cytogenetic biomarkers in peripheral blood lymphocytes are the standard endpoints used in human population studies. To date, dicentrics as gold standard for radiation biodosimetry cannot easily be replaced. The photomicrographs vividly depict the biomarkers often used in the assessment of mutagenic, carcinogenic and occupational exposures. The health significance of increased levels of CA , MN and SCE is still poorly understood.
