This course is designed for those who possess good proficiency of lndonesian

and English languages, but without knowledge of strategies and techniques

necessary to perform an interpreting task.

This 40-hour course introduces basic knowledge related to two modes

interpreting: consecutive and simultaneous

interpreting.

This course is aimed for those who wish to strengthen the interpreting skills and

widen their knowledge on interpreting strategies by practicing with more

challenging materials and situations.
ln this 40-hour course pafticipants will be taken into simulation and discussion
sessions which will prepare them for entering the world of professional
interpreting. Skills, such as notetaking, voice management, and public
speaking will be emphasized along with practical techniques to transfer
messages fluently and accurately,

lnterpreting Course at Professional Level

This 40-hour course is designed for those who have been working as
interpreters, but wish to strengthen their skills and widen their knowledge by
practicing with special materials and situations containing the usage of formal
language registers, such as those applied in international conferences,
coudroom or legal contexts, closed meetings, high level business negotiations,
etc.

Pemahaman dan penulisan teks hukum bahasa lndonesia dan bahasa lnggris,
serta teori penerjemahan teks hukum. Latihan menerjemahkan dilakukan pada

tingkat kalimat.
