Well, I don't own any blackhawk knives, but I don't own any cold steel knives either. All
personal preference I suppose. BRL would tell you to buy the knife, not the hype. Many knife
companies use creative advertising such as pigs, hot chicks, fast-moving-low-drag operators,
etc. I find a lot of their antics hilarious, but it doesn't make me want to buy their knives.

page. Most members read them. Some don't. Read them. Rules differ from forum to forum

Activity (topics and responses posted per day/week/month/year), and percentage of active

Yup, 2 whole years and has grown faster than every other forum that shares the same
subject matter.
This of course after I founded another one 4 years before that, and before that was on the
Admin team for the biggest in the world (at that time, it is no longer)... I go back a very long
way. I wasn't aware that my resume was required to post here.

has been going 12 years (let's say 11, as we are more or less at the start of the year, and it
could have started in the end of '98) we can say that by the average post count measure, his
forum is more active.
however, this whole thing relies on both forums having a consistant number of posts. I
suspect BF's average post count per year has increased over time as more members join,
and more people gain access to the internet.
so BF probably is more active, but the statistics could be interpreted to show that his is more
active, you would need more info (historical post count records) to be sure.
and no, I can't believe I was sad enough to go off and look at the maths that closely either
. my only defence is that I've been revising the statistics techniques I need for my
geography course, and so have numbers on the brain.

Ah the Invicta watch man. I must say I do have an Invicta higher end watch. It is 6 years old
and just last month quit running. Truthfully it ain't a bad watch although my wife paid way to
much for it when she bought it. As for BlackHawk products all are fine products, I have used
a bunch of there stuff and it has always done what they said it would do so I am good by
that. Mr. Janich is a very honorable gentleman too and stands behind his knives 100%.

True (I think I aluded to the principle in a later part of my post) but he's comparing his site's
current activeness to bladeforums now.

It is magnified by each level of success in the entertainment industry (I have friends whom
are actors and renowned musicians), I am on the very low end of this scale in comparison to
them, yet I still must deal with this because I am in the public eye.
It is part of the job, and we must simply deal with it. The good news is that for each of the
few detractors I have (or at least know about), I am thankful to have thousands more who
think of me in a positive manner. I am fortunate to broadcast to millions and I enjoy the
times when I am able to communicate with them directly... this is why most of the
negativity, lies, and half-truths that spread around don't bother me much anymore.

Have you informed anyone here that when I was a member of your forum and got banned
for posting a letter that flat out stated a certain watch company did NOT have factories and
the land of the Swiss, you, georgethewatchguy, michael davis and others used private
registration information to do a background check on me.
I can easliy post your emails threatening me with your distorted idea of reality. Did you
mention to anyone here that an email blast of erroneous information was sent out to who
knows how many people.
That informtion included my daughters address and phone number. It included my son's
address and phone number. And he is a high school principal so that information is kept
private.
How about those emails and PMs sent to members of your own forum with threats in them.
Did you tell members here that the admin that you were working with and who is still at your
forum is a former paid informant.
Your ludicrus claim about membership is a bit lacking in facts. You and the techical brand
advisor for Invicta, push your website on tv. Your membership is driven by that and little
else.
Mr. Skelton is a public person by his own admission. Enjoy the reading material. I apologize
to the members here but when I read his posts I thought you needed the truth about him.
Skelton, don;t try to use the con.. that was 10 years ago. Your actions during the dates of
April 2009 - 10-23-09 are absolute proof you are no different now than you were when on
the cigar forums or working for Jan at Cascade Cigars in Portland.

ever repo'd Jim or did you sell it and never pay them back either?
And then there was Bruce Story and his wife who you bilked out of thousands of dollars on a
co-signed loan. (This was before everyone was on to him). Yes folks, she co-signed a loan
(or was it a lease), Jim skipped town, and left them in the lurch.
Jim has not changed. He is still an evil, lying, scum that deserves anything bad that happens
to him. I would not believe anything Jim Skelton says. His entire life and personna is a
complete fabrication designed to make himself look important to others so he can live some
shell of a life that he wishes he truly had.
If anyone wants the true lowdown on this scum, they need only go so far as the forums at
cigarfamily.com. You'll find plenty of threads inthe archives, and plenty of FOG's still around
who can tell you about how he ripped people off.
You can run, but you can't hide Jim Skelton / Corona Gorda / Fatecrush.
