TASTE
Its about Richard a man who loves food and drinks; he describes wines as if they live. In each
dinner Mike bets that Richard couldnt guess what wine was and the year, but he had won twice
before. This time he is so sure that he begs his daughter. Richard says the wines name and year
and Mike get nervous. However, he keeps calm when the servant gives him glasses that she
claimed was his.
SWIM
Its about a man names Mr. Botibol who begs all what he has in a ships competition. Next day,
the sea is calm and the boat moves fast so he plans jump into the sea and delay the boat. A
woman sees him jump, but she doesnt do anything.
In MRS. BIXBY AND THE CORONELS COAT the wife has a secret lover who gives her a coat
when he finishes the relationship, she manages to deceive her husband, she said him that she
find a pawnbroker ticket in a taxi. He searches the coat and goes to his office and she discovers
that her husband has an adventure with his secretary because she wears the coat.
THE WAY UP TO HEAVEN
Its about Mrs. Foster a woman who scared loses a trip and her unusual husband. Before she
travels to Paris, her husband pretend to forget a present but she see it inside the car so she go to
close the door and hear something strange. She goes to Paris and she lives a normal live even.
When she comes back to house in taxi, because her husband doesnt send a car, she saw a lot of
letters and smell something strange and noticed that the elevator wasnt in order so she asked for
a repairman.
THE SOUND MACHINE
Its about a man who explains to a doctor that he has invented a sound machine. At first time, he
hears screams each time a neighbor cuts a flower. One day, he tries to cut a tree and hear
screams too so he calls his doctor because he wanted to hear that noise too. When he comes the
man tries to cut the tree again, the doctor couldnt hear anything and the tree falls and broke the
sound machine.
In LEG OF LAMB a woman (Mary) didnt know what to do when her husband (Patrick) tells her
that he is going to leave. She intends to continue with their routine as if nothing and she wants to
make the dinner but in an attack she kills him with a leg of lamb. She acts as if she doesnt do it
and finally the cups who investigate the case eat the gun that killed the men.
BIRTH AND FATE
Its about a woman who has fourth child; the other three has died at young age, the all have been
small and weak and she is very afraid that this one will suffer the same destiny. This new baby is
Adolf Hitler
In POISON when Timber arrives at Harry Popes house and finds his friend shocked and nervous.
He claims to have a snake on himself and asks Timber to calls doctor. As the story progresses, it
becomes clear that there is no snake. They dont know if Harry imagines the snake or lies. Harry
insults the doctor so he walks out of the room and tells that Harry needs a vacation.
