the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The proposed Order is necessary so that highway drainage works can be carried out in the narrow
carriageway.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exempted
vehicles, from proceeding along that section of Holgan Road (U6101), from its junction with
Llawhaden Bridge, north to a point at the north boundary of St Aidans Church.
The alternative route for traffic will be via the C3158 Llawhaden Bridge to White Leys road, C3011
White Leys to Llawhaden road, and the C3069 Llawhaden to Broadway via Plain Dealings road.
It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on
Monday 19th January 2015, and remain in force for a duration of approximately 2 weeks.
Pedestrian access will be maintained together with vehicular access to property located either
side of the works area.
The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 12 months as a contingency should the
works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
