One tube

No limits
OPTIMASS is the brand NEW family of Coriolis
meters from KROHNE. Designed to overcome the
limitations traditionally associated with Coriolis
meters, OPTIMASS makes single tube metering
realistic in more applications than ever before.
No limits with tube materials
Hastelloy or Stainless Steel allow single tube
metering for almost any process.
No limits with flow
From 0.3 to 350 kg/h or
0.011 lbs/min to 12.8 lbs/min.
No limits with measured product
High viscosity, particulate matter, inhomogeneous mixtures,
normal entrained air, have little effect on the accuracy and
quality of the measurement.
No limits with installation
An integrated base mounting plate allows easy installation
horizontally or vertically without the need for special fixtures.
Installation is easy with all sizes having the same length.
And in addition, excellent performance
Wide measuring range (turndown)
Excellent mass flow zero stability
Ability to measure flows down to grams per minute
Standard tube pressure rating 150 bar or 2175 psig

Pressure De-rating

An integrated heating jacket can be

fitted to the inside of the pressure
dome. Maximum heating
(liquid/steam) should not exceed
150C or 300F.

All process connections except hygienic

Note: When using the heating jacket

option, the maximum secondary
pressure containment is 10 bar at

Note: As the measuring tubes are capable of a higher pressure rating than the secondary
containment, the secondary dome will be fitted with a bursting disc in all cases where the
operating pressure exceeds the secondary pressure rating. This option (C) on the price page
should then be ordered. Bursting disc failure is 20 barg / 290 psig at 20C / 70F.
