WORKSHOP
22 AUGUST 2012, WEDNESDAY
Dear Colleague,
Todays energy projects are growing in complexity and
scope; gone are the days of straightforward stick-builds.
Modularization allows complex, large-scale projects to be
executed more cheaply and efficiently.
2nd Annual Modular Construction & Prefabrication Asia
2012 will bring together the major stakeholders of asset
owners, contractors and fabrication yards to a high-level
forum centered on the current challenges faced by the
modular construction of large scale energy and O&G
projects.
This event will allow you to discover exactly what projects
are currently in the pipeline. You will not only have the
unique opportunity to ascertain the expectations of the
module-buyers, but benchmark the technical expertise
and logistical planning it takes to successfully drive a
project to completion.

KEY INDICATORS THAT YOU NEED

TO MODULARISE
1800 2030
When faced with the decision of whether or not to
modularise on a large construction project, time, skills,
knowledge, expertise, logistics and expertise are major
factors. The scope of the project, the challenges involved
and the resources available, should all form key aspects of
your decision making process.
This workshop will step through the decision making
process and ultimately help you to determine if
modularisation is the best method for your project.

I look forward to seeing you this August!

Conference Director
IQPC Singapore

Run analysis on the decision making process during

the feasibility study phase
Balance the costs, benefits and risks for using
international fabricators
Identify and manage risks in modularisation
Focus on constructability considerations and their
impacts on overall project costs and execution
timeframes
